I'm what is known as a Jack of all trade, master of none. In my time, I have played recorder, guitar, saxophone, drums, trombone and keyboards.
I'm currently having piano lessons.
I can passably draw certain things.
I write. Thoughts, stories, lyrics, poems. Mainly for myself.
I've always wanted to learn Italian. I'm going to.

I majored in linguistics once upon a time and I can tell you a lot *about* languages, but I only speak one and a half (I used to be near-fluent in German, but its gotten very, very rusty). I also wouldn't call this a talent, but I play the french horn - very badly. Still, if you need someone to sit in on a brass quartet and play nothing but whole notes, I'm your guy!

This sounds very similar to me! I can speak a little bit of a couple of language, did multiple after school activities as a kid but didn't stay with any very long, have done lots of different athletic/outdoorsy activities as an adult....
I think my two real talents are: 1. researching whatever I'm currently interested in and 2. I can wiggle my right ear

I started to work on a project (pure hobby) about LOTR trilogy soundtrack.
It's about music and language actually. I selected all the songs in Quenya, Sindarin, Adunaic etc., Tolkien languages basically (which by the way I started to learn Quenya many moons ago too and never finished
), and provide the English translation. So I had to go through all the scenes were a particular song was used with those languages, cut the clips and put it all together in a coherent form in the end, with the original text and english translations below. It was a lot of work but I managed to finish the first movie pretty fast. I was so into it and worked non stop. I love that creativity process and where you are into it. So I finished the first movie in 2019, but I just couldn't get into the second movie. Covid started and it just killed my "inspiration", so to speak.
BUT...I am going to finish it, no matter when. I love it and I have vowed to finish this. I just have to get started. Once I start, I don't stop.

Talent is a loose definition but I play 3 instruments (piano, guitar and drums). In a weird twist, I'm best at guitar but do it the least. I'm a pretty in the pocket drummer, but not one of those super technical freaks like Danny Carey. I wish I could play piano better. If I could be a smoky bar pianist with a gravely voice, I think I would quit my corporate job and do it.
I can also build just about anything out of anything and I never make plans.
