I feel your pain... mine wasn't a video thoughI was understating it. It was more like 3x a day… if not more. My kid is autistic…
I had to sing “You Got a Friend in Me” to get him to bathe for a year…
I had to have hot wheel cars on standby for anything I wanted done.
I swear I would have bought those things by the case since my son was so fixated on them, and I was able to get him to do hard tasks.
By time he grew out of it, we had like 8 of those car caring cases full of cars and still some in a tote. Glad those things were a $1 back then

Oh I had options and his focus changed as he grew. Powerpuff Girls, legos, Veggie Tales, Spongebob… I had to sit through hours and hours of them all. I think the worst was his Barney stage. Barney only came on once a day and had no tapes, Cds or other products. Not even dolls. I only got 1 hour a day to rest. That song really is the soundtrack to insanity. The list has some great movies on it. Lots of things I have never seen. I like to constantly expand my knowledge base. Art, music, literature, medical journals… you name it. Never know what rabbit hole I will fall in next. It is how I found this place damn near 20 years ago.I didn’t even read past seeing #2... I was appalled

Oh it is... mine went from Hotwheels to Sonic.. anything sonic, knuckles, tails... took forever to hunt down stuffies of those and t.v. shows... I know exactly what you went through
