My cousin keeps getting mail (including the mail I send to her) stolen from her mailbox. She has called the USPS twice and they claim that there is nothing they can do about it besides file a report with them.

Is her mailbox locked? Is there any chance of people other than the USPS delivery person stealing it from the mailbox? If so, might she or any neighbors have a Ring doorbell or other security camera pointed at it?

Has she signed up for email notifications from USPS? They scan the mail upon sorting and email pics of what to expect that day. It doesn’t help retrieve lost or stolen mail, but at least she will know what’s missing and can contact the senders if needed
