It seems like there is so much death lately. One funeral last week. A funeral this past Saturday. Found out at that funeral that a friend's Mom passed away. This morning one of my besties texted that her Dad is on palliative care as of today. This season of life really, really sucks with all of our parents passing. Plus friends having to put their fur babies down. The Grim Reaper really needs to take a vacation and give us a break!

I agree. I live next to a church and there's been 3 *huge* funerals this past 10 days alone. They often have funerals here but they're not normally as noticeable in their attendance numbers. Something really does feel wrong lately.

I read this this morning, and my youngest son just called to tell me his uncle passed. It's a strange feeling, even though we aren't related by marriage any longer.
