As someone who goes back and forth, I find the changes are all dependent upon the people.

Probably some better and some worse, there was a rising tide of misogyny when I threw in the towel a few years back. Hopefully that has subsided. Nice Waits quote!

People are people, each new person assumes the roles I’ve seen over and over. A study in human nature.

A structural software change bothers me the most. It was the ability to see in the menu of thread options, you could see who was the last person to post…it’s a little thing, but it was easier to catch the people you enjoyed…

I didn’t go back to far in this thought stream so I may be missing the point…

I have never blocked anyone, so either I scare people away (which is possible), or the creep percentage has genuinely reduced.
