I have this one on my list! I keep having to delay my library hold for it because it becomes available while I already have several books borrowed. I’ll be getting to it soon(ish) though!

Where I'm at, most books can be renewed 9 more times, so I usually borrow "in bulk".

Mine can be renewed but only if they don’t have a hold on them, and most of mine do. I’m using Libby and borrowing from a big out-of-state library. It’s worth it to me because I have access to a lot of books that my library doesn’t have. But it also means I have to be careful with how many I borrow at once!

My library gets them through other libraries in the system/area (I live in Podunk). But...I can do more with Libby? Like you, the books on hold can't be renewed, so I put them in my "priority" stack. I need to look at this Libby, though!

I use Libby (formerly Overdrive) and have accounts for Los Angeles County Library and Los Angeles Public Library. A lot of libraries relaxed their proof of residency requirements when the pandemic started. I was living in Florida when I renewed my memberships to the LA libraries.
