Shogun. - James Clavell

A circuitous route to finally reading it. I watched the mini-series in ‘80, put it on my list of books to read but it’s sat on the shelf for 44 yrs. A friend I do some writing with started watching the FX adaptation, and so I joined her and am finally dusting off the book and reading it!
