Good bookI just finished A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
I liked it much better than the first book.I just finished A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
Is that the one made into a movie years and years ago? Great movie! Haven't read the book.I just started Master and Commander by Patrick O’Brian but I'm not sure it is my cup of tea. Has anyone read it?
They are a series of books. They used 2 or 3 to combine to make the movie out of. As to the series, they are an acquired taste, and you either love love LOVE the mood of each book, or reading one or two is more than enough. I read about 8 of them and enjoyed them.I just started Master and Commander by Patrick O’Brian but I'm not sure it is my cup of tea. Has anyone read it?
Thanks. I have started the first one but it isn't a smooth read so far. The writing style doesn't seem to click. It feels unnecessarily wordy but it could just be me.They are a series of books. The "unnecessarily wordy" part is the style that polarizes people reading the books...I struggled initially, then noticed that the actions sequences were fairly vivid in my mind as a result...but that's where people either love or dislike the books...Thanks. One of my favoritesThe Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
Yes, wonderful books. It is particularly male oriented which may or may not be your cup of tea.I just started Master and Commander by Patrick O’Brian but I'm not sure it is my cup of tea. Has anyone read
Same could be said of Dickens or Scott. I think it’s worth trying to get through one book. If you still do t like then you know it’s not for you.Thanks.
