So I stopped Master and Commander…I might go back to it or it will rot in Kindle purgatory 😂
I just finished Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. It was good but not the kind of book I usually read. Time for something a little lighter.

Try H.K. Christie. The Martina Monroe series gets my mind reset. Easy reads, light, and sometimes funny.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil…. Hard to believe it’s a true story.
I added this to my TBR list. I think it may even be on a bookshelf in my house...

I started Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez-truly light but with good reviews :)

The first Martina Monroe book is dowoaded. This will be next. 😀

It is. And if you get the chance to visit Savannah, you can do a tour of the locations in the book, including the diner. You used to be able to attend the drag show with (forgot his/her name) but I belive she has passed away.

Chablis, she played herself wonderfully in the film.

I just finished The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, and started the classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, after finishing a book with my kids based on the classic, called Daughter of the Deep by Rick Riordan.

Notes On An Execution by Danya Kukafka

A great thriller that tracks a serial killer. Mainly drawn from the perspective of three women (mother, sister and homicide detective). Not a downer as I expected, as the women are so fully rendered. A brilliant, perceptive and beautifully written story. Notwithstanding its Edgar Award, I was nonetheless surprised how the characters lived on even after finishing the book.

The Paleontologist, by Luke Dumas. Haunted house/murder mystery set in a run-down small town museum.
