Apologies if food books don’t count but

The Sourdough School by Vanessa Kimbell

It’s enlightening and also quite technical/scientific, great for a food geek like me

I learned to love books about food when I was in my teens. They’re a great way to learn. Plus you get to practice any recipes and learn new things.

Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell.

Interesting... today I learned that Yogi brand tea was created by 3HO cult leader Yogi Bhajan.

Vuelta Skelter by Tim Moore.

On the one hand it’s a fun and lighthearted story of one man riding the route of the 1941 Vuelta during lockdown. On the other hand it’s a reminder of the death and destruction that facism wreaked on Spain in the not-too-distant past.

Why fish don't exist - Lulu Miller

This author should be prosecuted under the Trade Descriptions Act for publishing a work under a demonstrably false title.
