I was walking into a grocery store. There were two outside, sliding doors, and then two inside doors.

And between the two sets of doors, there was like 12 or 15 people, and it was super crowded. In fact, it was really hot.

That is all.

I had to go back into the army and was supposed to report to Ft Hood in a few days. I was looking online for off post housing and I realized too late I would have to live with several other people.

I had to ship my things there and they arrived but it was taking me forever to get everything unpacked and I was running late for formation.

I don’t know what this means. I have been out of the army and NG now for 15 years.

Couple of days ago I dreamed that 2 of my cousins had died and I had to tell my mom about it, but she’s been gone over 4 years now. Very strange

I was driving too fast on a road near where I grew up. I went around the corner and into this little secluded area and where I passed the police car going other way. I was pissed because I was speeding and I knew he wanted to pull me over.

So I stopped like to talk to him. This flummoxed him. He was angry at me coz he wanted to pull me over, but he had no room to do so.

So I got out of that jam, and started driving till all of the sudden I was an interstate. The road was white with road salt like all of roads have been recently. Then it started raining or snowing, I couldn’t tell which. I couldn’t find the wiper switch on my car and I noticed the left and center lane were all filled with cars, so I went to the right lane. (I was stil pretty much blind with water or snow pouring down all over and I couldn’t find the wiper switch.)

I had no idea where I was.

The right lane was an exit only lane and I didn’t want to get off but I was stuck cuz the left and center lanes were all jammed up. Even tho I was driving blind I knew I didn’t want to get off there. Then I realized I was on route 84 driving near Danbury, so this was a good sign since it was the first thing I could see and the first thing that got me oriented as to where I was.

Then I noticed my daughter was driving behind me. She waved at me but I was upset because she was smoking (a cigarette I think…)

I was cooking a full chicken on the barbecue grill. My wife went to check on it and was mad because it was still frozen in the inside.

My former affair partner and I were neighbors. Our backyards were joined and covered in deep snow. He and his wife were on their back deck and I was smiling, waving and making small talk like I don’t fuck her husband behind her back.

Then I woke up.

I had an absolutely terrifying ptsd-ish dream two night ago. It really stuck with me all day.

I hate that.

But I had a nice dream last nite. I was driving with this woman I was really attracted to. Maybe we were coworkers…. Anyway, she was good looking and all dressed up like a retro 1940s or 50s hot rod chick. She was sexy and tough.

Black hair… she looked tough. I liked her.

At one point I was feeling it so I leaned in for a kiss. It was nice…. Gentle kiss. We made out for a while… I woke up w a hard on.

My crush was in my dreams last night. We were both at some sort of social function. When I first saw her she was wandering about looking at things. Then a bit later she was being 'girlie' with the other young women and sort of ignoring me. Then a little later on, I saw her again, lying down, with her blouse undone and pulled aside to expose her breasts whilst she looks me straight at me. I am very aware of her gaze as I enjoy the sight of her boobs. She does not invite me closer, she says nothing, but she let me look long and hard at her tiny perky tits.

I am celebrating an “alive day” with a very good friend of mine who was nearly killed in Afghanistan in 2009. I am sure that’s what triggered this ptsd dream.

We were hanging in my friends garage. He had a really nice new sports car. We were catching up, breaking each others balls, having some fun like during down time in the good old days. Then we went down to Maryland or Virginia, but in reality it was Iraq. The dream shifted “scenes” many times.

In one scene we were flying in a c130 low over a river. So low that the wingtips were almost in the water. We were taking fire left right and center and it was a pucker 10 moment - ass cheeks clenched tight. Thought we might not make it.

Then the scene shifted. We were in Baghdad but it was more like a cleaner American city. We were taking sniper fire and it turned out to be these two kids. We fired to scare them away… I won’t go into more detail. It’s just a dream.

Then we were trying to get back home. Iraq turned into Maryland or Delaware again and it was safe to walk around. There were American civilians all around us and it felt normal. At one point we went back into Iraq just to see how easy it was to go back and then came back out again. All my good friends were there; trev, Jimmy and Brad.

In my dream last night, someone who works with El*n M*sk trolled me on Twitter on a burner account. I got an offer from a lawyer to represent me pro-bono in court. I won 5 million dollars are compensation. In the second part of my dream, I was at an LGBTQIA+-only swim party. Finally, I was babysitting and the boy was misbehaving. For example, he kept drinking out of a fish tank because he thought it was funny. I usually have long, vivid dreams.

Two nights ago, I dreamed I was sitting on a couch or the edge of a bed with my feet up. There were two or three smaller Velociraptors on the ground trying to bite my feet that I kept pulling back up to dodge them. I finally got sick of playing this game and decided to kick one of them as hard as I could to send a message to stop messing with me. I kicked so hard for real that it woke me up with my leg out from the sheets and in the air. Might be the one time I'm happy to be sleeping alone so I don't have to face accidental DV charges.

I dreamt that my friends and I were on a plane to NYC and it crashed - but like, not really. Some damage (hole in the plane etc) but we landed ok and it wasn't traumatic. The worst part was that I lost my luggage in the crash and had nothing to wear.
I know my priorities, clearly.

Last night I had the most vivid dream of running in fear from Godzilla who was rampaging in the city. I was running through parking lots, hopping fences, running through yards, across fields and feeling the thunderous steps of Godzilla behind me. Flaming cars were flying through the air, it was making Godzilla roars, breathing fire. incredibly vivid.

I woke up with a fierce need to pee.

Weird dream. I can't imagine where that came from. I hope he and his Mrs are doing OK, and if they aren't, that he keeps it to himself.

Wrote a poem about this one…it wasn’t good.

Took a nap tonite around 5 after work just as the thunderstorms were coming in.

Diagonal Lines

In a dream
I was at a picnic
It was idyllic and I was eating food
And enjoying myself

Until the fireworks went off
Behind me
I couldn’t see straight
I saw diagonal lines in my dream
And I was frozen
Unable to move
Locked in place

Not here
And not there
Not in a dream and
Not in reality
Disconnected
And dissociated

Scared wasn’t the word for it
Something else had happened.

My ex wife came up at me screaming
“Why the fuck didn’t you tell us there would be fireworks?!”
She was furious with me - her dog was scared
I saw diagonal lines
And couldn’t move or answer her

My platoon sergeant came up to me
And told me to get the fuck moving
That got me up on my feet at least
We looked for insurgents… ECs
We were looking all over
On every trail in the woods at my farm

Until we emerged in a railroad freight yard
I had to watch my steps on the rails and ties
No one was firing at us
But I knew that would change
I was in automatic mode
Something had kicked in
Just go mode
Don’t worry about fear
I’ll run all the way into Damascus
I thought
(I had no idea why I’d run towards Damascus)
Soon I was back in my farm

And then back in my bedroom

To a loud thunderstorm

I was triggered

And i could see

The last one I remember was of a cute little girl with short and dark curly hair that I was playing with in a soft spring rain along with a puppy.

My dream may have been influenced by recently reading all I could find of the Sandman comics and spinoffs.

During a pit stop with a travelling companion, I looked up at the sky and saw a message written there, that my travelling companion had betrayed me or was an informant. I don't remember the exact words. She looked up and saw a row of black umbrella icons. I changed my plan from a full shower to washing only my face. The next message was much lower, huge black bird shapes, not actual birds, not moving, maybe ten feet up, meaning danger is very near. I said "We're going now" as I walked back to the car door and an armored truck entered the parking lot, blocking the exit. I turned with the intention of driving over the curb and across the grass, and woke up.

Dream logic doesn't explain why I would want her in the car if she had betrayed me.

This morning I woke from an extremely annoying dream - my husband was just being so AAARGHHH!
In the dream, we were shopping but the trolley was filled everything he'd chosen that was either already open, damaged (think bags of dried pasta with a rip, so they were falling out), or an excessive amount of really unhealthy snack foods. It was a mess and he just didn't care! What a twat!

When awake, I told him he'd been a twat and he apologised and gave me a hug and a kiss to apologise.

My first dream I remembered last night I was in NYC. We were gonna go to palisades park amusement park and I was looking forward to all of the cool lights and rides. Mind you palisades park was leveled like 50 years ago.

I had two cars there, my pickup and my other car. The pickup was parked and I went to park my other car.

By the time I got back to my pickup it was gone! Couldn’t find it anywhere. I thought it got stolen. But then I saw a cop handing out flyers that it was a parade route, and all cars on that street were towed.

He was very sorry (and pretty cool for a cop) and he had empathy for my situation but there was nothing he could do. It was out of his hands.

I still had my other car there so I thigh t it was ok, even tho the cop told me my car would be impounded till Friday.

My daughter had to take a spelling test.

She spelled cucumber, “queue qumber “

She got it wrong, but I applauded her for her creativity.

She is 25 yo now and hasn’t had to take a spelling test in like 15 years probably.
