what doesn't kill us.....blah blah blah

*grins* So an ex of mine and I shared a bit of a lightbulb moment yesterday.

*snip*

I could almost visualise lighbulbs going on simultaneously on two continents! *laugh*:eek::D

LOL

Sometime we need to travel far away to be able to see the flowers in our own back yard ;)

:rose:

Oooooh... that sounds intriguing!

Good luck to you, gorgeous.

Hey Raw :)

Hope you are ok.

yeah intruiging and slightly odd too :D

but and this is an awful way to put it..nevertheless...been there and done that lol

I agree, why do we do that to ourselves

*waves* is it a confidence thing do you think...that we doubt our own decisions or maybe its based on past experiences of making wrong choices....mmm. Hi and welcome btw :)

LOL

*grins* It was a pretty enlightening conversation.

You know I used to have sucha big thing for him...he is a very intelligent, self confident and charismatic man.
But he also has a few traits I am not so keen on. I am not sure he is well associated with the word commitment! *laugh*
How are you hon? :rose:

Never perfect, aren't they? LOL
As for lack of the commitment genes, it is a problem only when it is lied about. ;)

We are having a long holiday here in Japan, they called Silver Week (not to be confused with Golden Week holidays that happen end of April/early May): Monday was Respect of the Elderly Day, Wednesday is Autumn Equinox, so they added the Tuesday ad a National Holiday. The whole idea being that if you give people long holidays, they travel and spend money and help the economy :)

Us? We are staying home. LOL

How about you? Would you like a glass of red?

sounds like a nice rest Rida. Hope you are enjoying just chilling...

We have a three day weekend this coming one...I'm really looking forward to it. not doing anything but will enjoy just kicking back.

and yeah you are spot on in terms of the commitment gene. I think his idea is thathe will settle down in his fifties...but for now he has much to explore :D

Yeah, enjoying the sleeping in in the morning :D (could do without having to cook two meals a day each day thou )

Honestly I should start sorting through the stuff to keep and to throw (and force the kids and Hubby to do the same). In reality thou I cannot bring myself to start yet ... procrastinator to the max

Is the weather warming up down under? It is chilling off up here: time to start shining my winter boots!

*pour another glass for good measure*

:rose:

Hello Minx and Rida :)

It's morning here so I brought my own Baileys for my coffee.

Mind if I join you?

I'm doing okay lately, for the most part. I strained a stomach muscle playing tennis about 2 weeks ago, and just last night played again for the first time.

I did okay, but definitely didn't have any burst.

Hello Raw-sama!

Strained a stomach muscle? Hope it was a powerful serve or smash that caused it ;)

we have had loads of rain , but I think it starting to warm up andthe nights are definitely staying lighter longer! yay :)

Looking forward to spring and some pleasant days.

You know I have the same thing to do. I have a room full of stuff that I needto sort out and its gonna take some time to work through and decide what to keep and whatto get rid of. There's boxes and cases fullof stuff and it needs to go in the next few weeks.

This weekend would be a good time to do it

I'm a procrastinator too

hows things with you?

Good morning to you!
How is it going?

*cheers*

Very good, thank you. I got the kids off to school, hubby just left for work. I have to go into work this evening. I was up way too late last night so after this cup of coffee I think I will head back to bed for a bit.

Later I will be unpacking boxes trying to decide where to put things, or to not bother keeping things at all. You never really realize how much stuff you have untill you try to move it.

Sorry for the hit and run, but now that the house is quiet I need to get back to bed or else I'll be falling asleep at work tonight.

Thanks for the wonderful company.

I see a common theme in our lives, beside booze ..... BOXES! LOL

Where are the unpacking and uncluttering fairies when you need them???

:rose:

To ES: sweet dreams! :)

I'm actually not sure how it happened exactly. I was charging the net (had to react quickly to get to the ball) and had to swing somewhat awkwardly while stopping my momentum so I didn't charge through the net. I don't even remember if I won the point or not.

But, being a man, I kept playing anyway. With adrenaline and my muscles loose, it didn't hurt too badly at the time, although it did slow me down quite a bit and I knew I had tweaked something. Later on though, it really tightened up on me quite badly.

Definitely a Domly save!
Hope you will get back quickly in the full swing of things :D

I've not played tennis in ages! Actually eons! LOL
I wonder if I could still hit the ball ... hahaha

I think my box and unpacking fairies are off partying somewhere with my goodluck and relationship fairies!

Colds, while contagious, are too slow to catch up with me when I'm dashing around the courts.

;)

And now I have the "Flash Gordon" song stuck in my mind ....

although it should be re-titled "Raw Humour" ... the sillable are even fitting ... :D
