If someone broke into your house your dog would attack them and die protecting you.

The cat would rub up on their leg in hopes that had treats or food.

So after I shot the intruder, I'd still have a cat but not a dog. Sounds like a win for the cat crowd to me.

Had an intruder, as a kid. My dog notified the house, my dad scared him off. My cats just kinda chilled.
