What made you smile or laugh today? Part IV

Wimbeldon tennis. (A favourite sport). Watching Andreescu and Cornet live, there was a camera shot focusing on Andreescu's ankle, she has a locked chain and what looks like a small submissive tattoo.

Hmmm.

It is, but dammit, I miss touch. I miss going out.
I love that we have the technology we have to stay close. I’m thankful for it.

Still...

Yes, this!
Staying in contact via technology, talking and laughing together is great. Having met with three of my favourite groups of people the last two weeks though, there are several layers of conversation feeding into each other in a way that doesn’t work in a meet unless someone actually organizes it - and then it still would be organized and not spontaneously evolving.

With an intimate partner and with close family, like you said, touch is so important.
I’ve thought a lot about how different situations have been during these times for people depending on the situation, living with loved ones or not, being able to stay at home or needing to head out every day etc.

Seeing a friend for lunch and then seeing another friend at work that I hadn’t seen for a month. It was good to talk, I needed that.

I had an awesome day today, a friend that I had not seen for more than 30 years come to visit.
We had a great catch up and like magic, we made bottle of "Single Malt Glenfiddich" just disappear. Life gets in the way....................
It just wasn't long enough to catch up on everything.

There’s been a series of unfortunate events for me for several months now. Some I think were self fulfilling, so I’m going to try to focus on some good.

I decided to make s’mores. It’s stupid simple and it just feels like a childish indulgence. It was a great idea.

(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

Fell in love with this guy when I found the 1.0 maze.

I didn't know he had a channel until I was told about it today.

And all I could think was "how did I not know Boom Boom Glitter Bomb Rober had a whole channel of awesomesauce?!"

(ETA; and yeah, I may or may not have been the nerdy teacher at the college who had my students doing things like a six-foot-tall jacob's ladder.)

I’m glad you found some tasty redemption. I think that sometimes when you’re feeling out of sorts, it’s the simplest things that can rescue you. I recently reread four Encyclopedia Brown books. Encyclopedia is a 10-year old detective, and something about seeing Bugs Meany nailed again and again is very satisfying.

S'Mores can help most problems if they are given the chance:D

I hope things continue to improve, if not MORE S'Mores:eek:

Encyclopedia Brown!!!

Haven't thought of him in years!!!

I get a chuckle when...

What made me laugh today? I get a little chuckle every time I see the current POTUS attempt to answer a basic question. Of course his handlers try to shield him from questions due to his condition but it still happens. At the same time I have to say that the laugh that I get out of it is tempered with a realization about how pathetic it is to see a man with that degree of mental decline still be used as a political puppet. Likewise, there is nothing even remotely funny about the tragic effects that his condition is likely to trigger world wide.

I don’t care what the liberal media says, sir. I still think you’re a very stable genius.

agreed....THANKS for saying that! It needs to be said and read.

Huh. Three trolls, none of whom I've seen around here before, two of whom have profiles basically created yesterday (for all intents and purposes), all decide to come to this random thread at the same time and start agreeing with each other. Seems legit...

I came across your penis sketchings and that made me smile today. I’m so glad you popped in.

Catching this unexpected surprise.

I very much “drive-by” post and probably miss stuff like this often. It’s nice in the sea of worries I’m usually in.

After a 4 month lock down for hairdressers in my province, I finally got a new look. New hair style and added low lights. Feeling sooooo much better. Looking better too.
