What SHOULD you be doing? *if you are procrastinating*

a nap does sound good, although it is too late for one since it'll keep me from going to bed in awhile LOL

It's the weekend! Always a good time for a nap :)

Maybe a catnap?

Hmmmm, sounds good to me.

I've been taking naps during the week lately with my job up in the air, so I gotta keep from getting used to it LOL

If you are procrastinating while here at Lit, what is it you SHOULD be doing?
Paying bills, cleaning the house, brushing the dogs...

My list is endless, I am the queen of procrastination.

Well we can't have any bad signs around here now can we?

I should be scanning my backlog of recipes and books that I want to read onto cd's so that I can throw the paper trail away. Wish me luck.
Luck.

Oh man, I can soooo relate to that!!

I am terrible when it comes to procrastination. One would have thought I invented it...lol!

Same things I shoulda done yesterday.

I need to import about 500 names & addresses into an excel sheet and print labels.

Make postcards

Figure out what I am teaching the upcoming week.

Finalize my Halloween costume to wear to work tomorrow :cathappy:

I'm feeling rather lazy at this moment though....

I should be watching Une femme est une femme ("A Woman is a Woman") by Jean-Luc Godard. I wonder exactly what his point is going to be... ? In one sense he is right, and in so many other senses a statement like that is pure stupidity. Since he is considered a great French film-maker, I am hoping he got some real complex something of the former going on.

Good thing about a DVD from the library: nothing lost but your time, and no embarrassing departure from the movie theater if you get tired of the action.

Oh, yeah. Procrastinating? Eating my lunch two hours late. I guess I wanted to call something pleasurable a procrastination for once....

I should be folding the laundry, but I am watching Une femme est une femme, which I discover I have already seen -- that unmemorable. French 60s avant-garde, perhaps a poor choice for avoiding laundry, since it is impossible to get drawn in. *click* Now where are those sheets?

Like Mr. Matters, I always hope there is something to be gained when watching a film by a "master."

Procastinating today...cleaning the bathroom. I should have done it yesterday when I was in gung-ho cleaning mode. Right now, I'd rather make a latte (even though my tummy is stuffed) and read the Sunday paper while the cool breeze drifts around me. Yep, the bathroom is going to remain uncleaned for another day.

Bravo! Now that is a heroic stance against the mundane. Everyone rally 'round D, now and go to your kitchens and make a latte for yourself.

Made the mistake of dumping my clean laundry on my bed, tho', so either I fold it, or sleep on the couch... Master Den would have me sleeping on the couch, I am sure :D

I'm not so sure about that...

after all I'm a procrastinator too, so I can't ticket you for that offense.

I didn't hear your whisper for several days. But I saw the smile.

I should be eating something... um, that's on another subject, by the way. I think. anyway, I am starving, but decided to parachute into the Playground for a few minutes. Now, an hour later.... :catroar: Not only are the dish fairies apparently on permanent vacation, but the entire kitchen staff has run off. So very hard to be a feudal lord these days. Guess I'll go and make myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Ha ha, that puts the "feudal lord" in the garbage with the banana peel.

As you can tell, it took me a couple of hours to edit out the post--that was short-term procrastination at its finest.

pb & banana? Hmm, no wonder the kitchen staff has run off...why serve a culinary delight if a pb & b will do?

Set the rest of my clocks back.

I really should...I darn near jumped and ran out of my bed this morning until I remembered I have yet to change my alarm clock time.....:rolleeys:
