What was the last thing you watched on Netflix?

The docudrama of Manti T'eo. Man I made fun of him at the time, but he really did take a huge hit for being a naive kid. Felt pretty sorry for him.

Convenient for today’s drama… Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist. (Which I enjoyed - every “Untold” is really well done)

Bridgerton. Not enjoying season 2 as much. They just made the female lead unlikeable instead of noble.

365 Days This Day….apparently there’s a new one. Guess it’s been awhile since I’ve watched Netflix.

Been a while since I watched anything on Netflix. Last thing was Sex Education. Worth a binge whenever Season 4 comes out

The Man From Toronto.

Do not recommend. The story was disjointed and relationship development between the assassin and the guy who was stealing his identity was just stupid And it kept backtracking. Like are you guys friends now or not?

The movie had potential but it wasn't executed well

I just watched Anatomy of a Scandal. It was a decent watch, and it inspired a newfound appreciation for Sienna Miller. Michelle Dockery was amazing as always.

Is that the one where the prosecutor was going after the rapist from the British Parliament?

That was good. Perfect length. A lot of times those limited series either have 1 episode too many or try to cram 2 hours worth of a story ending into a 1 hour episode.

I also liked how they didn't present the full truth of what happened in the alleged rape from the beginning. Some stories like this start with "Here is what happened. Now watch the legal drama." In this one the viewer was treated like a member of the jury. You were seeing two sides of the story but didn't actually know what happened. Was the woman lying? Did the man rape her? Was the prosecutor being irrationally vindictive?

They made you think all of those things at one point or another and kept the viewer off balance. You didn't really know what happened until the end. And then they made it all come together nicely. You understood why you thought different people were lying at different points in the story.

I thought it was very well written. Apparently it was very true to the book too, with only a few variations.
