Whats every body reading?

"A Treasury of Foolishly Forgotten Americans" by Michael Farquhar. I'm finding it a good reminder of the perspective of history- to see people who gained so much attention in their own time and are almost completely unknown now.

The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. It's a very think volume! Supposedly, it's about cathedrals but it's far too interesting to be just about buildings no matter how beautiful.

Now that sounds interesting. I'm going to see if my library has that one.

It's a cracking book read it twice many moons ago, I'm not a big Follet fan but I liked this one. It reminded me off Noha Gordons Physician.

I'm reading the Twighlight Series by Stephenie Meyer... Can't put them down..

Seriously cruhin' on Edward Cullen :rose:

I finished Sepulchre by Kate Mosse this morning, which have taken me a long time to read, I don't know why, but I think it would have been a better book if it had been edited down with abotu 100 - 150 pages.

I picked up The Existential Joss Whedon at the Library today, so I'll be starting that.

And then I've ordered the following at play.com today:

Invisible Prey - John Sandford
The Skin Gods - Richard Montanari
Broken Angels - Richard Montanari
The Torment of Others - Val McDermid
Bones To Ashes - Kathy Reichs

Montanari is supposed to be very good, you'll have to let me know what you think when you read them. Also look out for Cody MacFayden - he writes some great thrillers.:)

I recently picked up a copy of Sarah Palin's Guide to the Supreme Court Decisions That Shaped Modern America. It should be good for one trip to the bathroom. ;)

lol I still havent start reading the 7th book of my Hairy Potter!!:eek:

Need to make more time for reading, I love it. Lifes just too busy lately, oh well! :)

I just got threw reading "Winter Prey" by John Sandford. On the e-Book format, its 588 pages long. I read that in 3 hours total. And I did some guestimations on the math. It comes out to about 15 words per second that I'm reading. Hmmm. Crazy.

I've just started the last of the Stephenie Meyer books, Breaking Dawn. They are extremely compelling. Also just finished a few books on terrorism and covet ops, Delta force and the like.

Been neglecting my reading recently, with my trip to see KT and work keeping me busy. Quite fancy a Clive Barker or Neil Gaiman. Will have to make a trip through to the city since Hobiton(uk) doesent have a bookshop.

The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch

I don't usually read this sort of thing, but I found it to be just what I needed after the elections. Practical advice from a smart guy who really appreciated the life he made for himself. Bless him and his family. The world is a much better place for his being in it, though his time was too short.

Mrs. Dalloway.

I have been planning to read that for years...

Thanks for reminding me!

Another book I've had on my to-read-list for a long time is Fear of flying by Erica Jong. Last week I happened upon it in a used books store, and today I started. :)
