Whats every body reading?

Love in the Time of Cholera is a great book. I'm about to begin his Memories of My Melancholy Whores. It will be an odd transition since I just finished rereading The Hobbit.

I recommend "Fine Frights; Stories That Scared Me", a collection of various authors gathered together by Ramsey Campbell. There's some pretty twisted horror stories in there.

Loved Ramsey Campbell and H.P Lovecraft when I was in my teens We used to play in a Call of Cuthulu role playing game.

Just bought the book The Good Guy by Dean Koontz..going to start reading it tonight I think

Tip for reading Marquez - draw a family tree.

You think you'll remember who's who but you won't by page 200.

If I can't remember the characters, it wasn't written the way I like it. KWIM?

I don't know, when I read the tin drum by gunther grass I found some of the polish and german names easy to confuse with one another plus it was a long story with loads of charachters.

I'm re-reading Sue Joseph's 'She's My Wife, He's Just Sex' and also starting 'From Queer To Eternity - Spirituality In The Lives of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual People' by Peter Sweasey .

*nods*

Doesn't sound like the kind of read I'd enjoy then.

Admitting to being a bookworm.

That said, today I finished Dark Celebration by Christine Feehan, andam halfway through White Death by Clive Cussler

Ok, maybe not a bookworm, just someone desperately in need of a job or other constructive work lol

Still beats watching mindless soul destroying daytime T.v! I think my library membership saved my sanity when I was unemployed.

Oh no, it's fantastic, it's just a very multi-generational family saga

Same as the Tin Drum and I imagine the spannish way of using maiden names and surnames can be quite confusing. The new Film of love in the time is supposed to be dissapointing.

Due to my computer blowing up I had 3 weeks of reading which i enjoyed .

Ivans war the red army 1939 to 45 harsh!

I'm reading The Reapers by John Connolly - usually one of my fave authors. And while it started off very well, it waned in the middle. Almost 60 pages to go till the end and it's picked up slightly.

Still reading on The Good Guy by Dean Koontz..The book is okay but I have been away from reading his books for so long that I can't get into his writing style..

I couldn't get through the Silmarillion. I gave up. Mostly I'm just not into that kind of literature, so it didn't seem worth wading through to me.
Just finished two books on pregnancy (long story)
and after finishing The Bottoming Book I am now reading The Topping Book.
Like I said (or didn't and only thought) I'm a sucker for non-fiction.

I'm reading the BDSM book of the month. I have to finish it and turn it in by Tuesday.

I'm also reading a Dresden Files book. YUM!
