Whats every body reading?

Totally understand that. It's one of the few fiction series I've ever been into.
I swear my bf is turning me on to sci-fi ish stuff.
Never knew what a Stargate was before I met him. :)

The Fourth Bear, by Jasper Fforde. Love his stuff, but love Thursday Next the most.

Well The Reapers redemmed itself a little with the introduction of John Connolly's main character - Charlie Parker. I've always believed it was Connolly's plots and writing style that draws me back each year, but it's not just that - it's Parker. He's one of those characters you just want to save and screw all rolled into one package.

Is that clan of the cave bear? The 3rd one gets pretty dirty! I even liked the film.

I liked the concept of homosapiens and neanthertahls co existing which they must have done at one point in time.

I am re-rreading the Clan of the Cave Bear at the moment. If I am ever lucky enough to have a second daughter her name will be Ayla. She is my hero. She is strong, sensitive, determined, loving ..... I aspire to her attitude!

Deep and old connection to that series.

Good re-read babydoll.

Just got kaffka on the shore by Haruki Murakami to re read love the old man who can talk to cats. Colonel Saunders is evil!

Kaffka on the shore Strange book but very hypnotic ,enjoying it the 2nd time round.

Still reading on The Good Guy by Dean Koontz..The book is okay but I have been away from reading his books for so long that I can't get into his writing style..

I really like Dean Koontz and have read most of his book. I like his style...its quite flowery I guess, but I like the descriptions and the way he has a number of storylines running concurrently and shifts back and forth. It keeps me on my toes *laugh*

But I agree with you hone...the good guy didn't really do it for me either.

I usually love his style of writing and he seems to have 2 stories going on at once..

I am glad that I am not the only one that is having trouble with The Good Guy..LOL

Same here. Nothing like discovering a new author!
