Around here it seems as if almost nothing is. Which makes me wonder at the quality of the food that is, supposedly, consumed by Litsters.

I still haven't been to the grocery. Lol.

So, it's Sunday again, and none o' youse guys seem to eat anything pic worthy so it's up to me to liven up your evening.

Baked Pacific Whiting on a rice and cheese casserole with Cauliflower, Broccoli, carrots. Swiss Lemon Roll for dessert.







I fixed the rice first with some stock instead of water. The cheese sauce for the rice is a simple butter/flour/milk bechamel with some Moscato white wine and cheddar. I topped the fish with lemon halves and sprinkled paprika over it before baking to cook the fish.

The Lemon Roll is as divine as the drooling weasels imagine it to be. Lemon flavored cake with cream cheese/lemon filling and frosted with a stabilized Swiss and cream cheese frosting that has lemon juice and zest in it.

Now to start thinking about next Sunday. I have steak, chicken, shrimp, sausage, pasta but no plan yet. Wednesday I'll know what will be on the menu, but for right now I'm basking in the after dinner glow.
