What's Your Favourite...

'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!'

Great Xmas film - all dancing all singing etc!

Does it make me a Scooge that I can't really get into "It's a Wonderful Life?" I've seen it once, when I was in my twenties. I was the only person in the whole universe who hadn't seen it. And to be honest once was enough, I mean it's good, but I guess I just don't "get it"...

You're not alone sweetie....It doesn't work for me either.

Not really Christmas movies...

...but the James Bond films get shown on UK TV every Christmas.

I like 'Casino Royale' because it is SO bad. Not in the normal 007 genre. The participants have taken years to live down appearing in that film.

One I like at Christmas when I'm full of food - the Japanese noodle/spaghetti western/trucker/gangster film 'Tampopo'.

It has to be watched on a full stomach or with food close by. I love the scenes with the gangster, his moll and the raw egg; and the diving girl, the gangster and the oyster.

The references to other movies make this film worth watching several times.

Bastard, I've had my hand on that film so many times when I've rented and never did....now I'll feel compelled because I love Japanese films.

Don't forget the food. Preferably Japanese noodles and saki. If not the film will induce embarrassing stomach rumbles.
