I used to carry a surf board, though I could not surf, it was the only way to get a ride while hitchhiking. We used to walk all around the entire Island of Oahu almost every weekend eating fresh wild fruits.

....I used to play outside with my friends even way past after dark, playing hide and seek under the moonlight was even better, with the entire village as the playground!

Of course that's a memory of far, far away in a long time ago.

WIWAK, I remember before 10-speeds were the rage, I would pack a lunch in a paper bag, bungee it to the back of my bike seat, and ride my stingray with friends on long-distance treks (for us long-distance...like 40-50 miles round trip to the mall).....
