When I Was a Kid....

WIWAK I would get tears and chills when I sang the National Anthem. I still do.
 
Ha! You just reminded me of how we used to sing into our hairbrushes! Or screwdrivers, or whatever else may have looked remotely like a microphone.

I got caught singing at the top of my lungs by my brother once, when I thought no one was home. Humiliating experience!!
 
When I Was A Kid

WIWAK we used to play Sega and Nintendo for hours...Kids today do not get when I pretend throw a lasso around them and yell 'Get Over Here!'...actually they call the police on their smart phones...

also, the 17 y/o that lives with me was helping me unpack my truck the other day and asked me how we were going to fit everything into the tiny closet. I told him, I played enough Tetris as a kid, we'd make it work...He looked at me like I was the idiot and asked, "What's Tetris?" SMH, SMH...but what did I expect, he once referred to Dungeons & Dragons as, "That really old game."

WIWAK I used to go fishing a lot at different lakes. I loved everything about fishing except taking the fish off the hook. I miss those days.
 
WIWAK we would lay out in the yard on a summer night and stare up at the stars.. and watch the fireflys.... and then have to be painted with clear fingernail polish for chiggers.. lol
