When RP takes control IC thread

Thalryn

The elf followed the vampire into the inn. He was keeping strange company these days. A dark elf mix and a vampire. And surprisingly he trusted the vampire.

“I already have a room. Its next to yours, in fact.”

Kryss eyed him suspiciously for knowing where they were staying. Thal ignored it.

“I belive it would be good to rest. I have an unused bed in my room, if anyone desires it. I don’t know how cramped your room will be with the addition of two people.”

Skyler

She turned to Thalryn and smiled. "Thank you for your offer, but I am sure Jas and Kryss would rather have their own room. Dominic and I are fairly comfortable sharing a room."

She looked to the others, it was actually still not all that late, well for her. The Inn had it's own tavern which made it easier for the inn keeper to get customers she had to guess.

"We could all get something to eat... well you all could." She smiled food really didn't sit well with her. "I'll take care of the bill for it, well for dinner and first round. Maybe we could get to know Thalryn a little better. Hell he may even have a few ideas on getting us out of this game."

Thalryn

Game....game? What was she...? What game were they in? He was...Natha...?No. He was Thalryn Amastacia. He had always been.

Thalryn looked puzzled at the vampire. Some people insisted that life was a game, but why would you want to get out of it. This was real. He breifly remembered dreams of being another person in another place, but this is who he was. An elf on the run from his homeland.

Sensing the tension in Thalryn's mind, Elistraee awoke from her nap, climbing out of Thal's hood and onto his shoulder, much like slip was. She eyed the iguana warily.

Wordlessly, the ferret snuggled up to her master, trying to comfort him.

Thalryn snapped out of his trance like state. "Uh....food. Yes. And drink. To the taproom, then? I'll tell you all you wish to know." He smiled slightly, stroking Elistraee as she licked his face.

Kryss ~

I was totally wiped out from the spells, took alot to keep both spells going. For as much as I wanted to be with Jas, I wasn't very good company right now.

"I'm not very hungry right now. I think I'm going to go for a walk and get some fresh air. Or whatever, clear my head ya know."

Noticed that Jas looked at me concered, just kissed him assuring him that everything is ok. Even though it wasn't. But he didn't need to know that. I had barely heard the Elfs... what's his name again? .. Thalryn?!?.. back at the cave. Wasn't sure what he really said. Nor did I care. I was just upset by his presence right now. I grew up with enough elves to know them. Most killed my kind just because we were different.

And this one, who knows how long he has been following us. He seems to know where we are staying, little details. Some obvious, others not. I had to keep my eye on him, something was not right with him. I eyed him with his mention of where he was staying at, just made me all the more frustraded.

"I have to go now, don't wait up for me. My little walks and meditations have a way of taking some time. And right now I need that time."

With that I left, kissing Jas just before.

Outside the castle walls there was a stream some ways off to the side. Very peaceful and very beautiful spot. The moon was full and I brought my attention to her first, pouring in all my thoughts and emotions. Drawing in her energy, and releasing it into the the stream. Washing away all this negativity and confusion I had been feeling. Losing myself in the moons gaze, feeling her protection wash upon me.

She watched as Kryss left the Inn, she would worry of course, especially with all that was still going on outside the castle walls.

She turned to the others, "Maybe she needs the alone time. We've all been though alot this last few days. Let's get something to eat, drink and talk more about what our next steps are."

She turned and walked into the tavern as the others followed. She found a table out of the main walkway, and took a seat as the others sat.

Thalryn

The elf followed Skyler to the table and pulled a chair of his own. Then he turned to the vampire.

“You know, you really should have let Seth charge me. I think I’d have preferred to see him dead than hypnotized.” The elf grabbed a glass of Firewine from a passing waitress, flipping her a gold piece as she started to protest.

He started chuckling to himself, “Although the look of surprise on his face when his eyes met mine…” He took a sip.

“Priceless.” He mused.

Skyler

"Trust me after what he did I would rather have seen him dead, but maybe the towsfolk will see to that once he tells the truth about how he was."

She smiled briefly. "Besides humiliation works wonders for one's character."

Dominic

As we left Seth to return to the castle, I yelled to him. "Hey Seth!"

"Yes, Master Dominic?" He asked. I turned and kicked him as hard as I could between the legs. His eyes began to water and he crumpled to the ground.

"That's what you get for fucking with me." I said to him, then followed Skyler to the tavern. I sat down at the table between Skyler and Jas.

"I hope humiliation will do something to him. Bastard. There's no one you can trust anymore." I growled. I cleaned my glasses for the third time since I was unfrozen and sighed. "Damn blurriness. It's gonna take a while to get used to being able to see again."

Well, it's good to have you back, boss. Because I'm hungry.

"Uh-huh."

I am! Do you know what they fed me since you were gone? Here's a hint: DIDDLY SHIT!

"I get the point, Slip. I'll order you some bread." I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "I'm starting to wish I stayed stone."

Then I looked up, realizing how ungrateful that sounded. "Thanks for helping me, guys. I haven't had the oppertunity to thank you formally. It must have been a pain to lug me around. But I appreciate it."

Skyler

She looked over to Dominic. "You know, we would do it again. Well I know I would." She smiled softly. "I would just be more careful with who I trusted next time."

She was worried, she knew it was a hell of an ordeal, but Dominic seemed a little more disgruntled than he should have been. She moved her chair a little closer and laid her hand on his squeezing gently.

She leaned close and whispered in his ear."Thank you Dominic, if it weren't for you I would probably be dead." She then kissed his cheek lightly as she waved one of the serving girls over.

Jasleth

Jas shrugged, kicking his chair up on its back legs. "You're welcome, Dom." "We're just glad you're back....though I have to admit that traveling with two gorgeous girls by myself had its moments." A broad grin and a wink accompanied the statement. "As for the knight...no matter what we think, he's still an important guy around here." "If we kill him, we can forget ever comig back again...and remember that the owl said this place wouldn't fall to whatever threat is coming." Jas's expression darkened a bit. "We may need it to fall back on."

Jas felt a twinge of concern. He should go after Kryss, but her eyes and lips had practically begged him to leave her be for a time. He frowned as he took a long drink from the flagon of milk he had bought. "Which brings us to the point...we need to decide where to take our investigation now."

Dominic

I blushed furiously when she kissed me. Maybe I can enjoy not being stone for a while. A smile creeped up on my face and I coughed to hide the blush.

"So...uh....are we still planning to go to the Sanctuary?" I asked. "Cause if so, we should probably find the quickest route we can and the one whith the fewest rogue mages." I looked at the elf I was seated across from. "How about you, Thalryn? You wanna come with us? I bet you want to get back to real life as soon as possible too, huh?"

Thalryn

He watched the exchange between Dominic and Skyler.

Well, that shed some light on that situation.

Thalryn let his mind wander and stared off into space, giving them some semblance of privacy. Then Jasleth spoke up, talking about some sort of investigation.

"What are you planning on?"

Skyler

She glanced over to Jas.. and smiled when he winked. She then looked between Dominic and Thalryn. She cringed inside about the return to real life comment.

She really wanted to go back to her safe life outside the game, but then again that might mean leaving Dominic behind. You should ask him more about him outside this mess, get to know him better since you know you want to.

She shook her head almost imperceptably as she listened to the three guys converse on the subject of where they should go next. She pushed the thoughts from her mind, she would hopefully have time to deal with them later.

She sat quietly listening, and then she seemed to notice the tavern seemed to clear out a little. She looked around, shrugged slightly then returned her attention to the guys.

Dominic

"So the Sanctuary...what path do you think we should..."

"Excuse me." A rough voice said. I turned slightly to see a knight in silver armor and at least ten castle guards standing near the bar entrance. "You, the seer and the monk, are you Jasleth and Dominic?" He asked.

"Uh...yes. Why?" I asked. The guards raised their swords and pointed at us. Another two ran behind us and slapped handcuffs on me and Jas's wrists.

"Hey!" I yelled. "What gives?"

"Quiet! You two are under arrest for the murder of Sir Sethford Falcon." His voice was cold and distant. "You will come with us immediatly."

Jasleth

Jas ran a hand over his chin, grunting as it encountered stubble. He'd never had to shave in game before...another quirk of the bug. "Come on, Thalryn, you have to have noticed that things have changed lately, pretty drastically." Jas picked up an eating knife and stuck it in the table. "Before the change, we couldn't interact with the environment like this, remember?" "It seemed natural at first...took a few real drastic things for me to realize, to remember that this is, well, WAS a game."

He shook his head, keep on task. "Anyway, we're trying to find out what happened, and if it can be fixed." "I don't know if you've heard of the Hidden City of Sanctuary but the Sages who run it have shown an...interest in us." "They say that we, and those we meet, can influence how this all ends up." Jas shrugged again, "I don't know about that...but they'll be good sources of information." "Personally, I think we need to go there, but not just yet." "We need a day or two to rest and resupply." His wine red eyes were serious as he looked over each member of the party in turn. "The trip to Sanctuary is not easy." "It changes every time, challenging you differently." "I know where it is, I chanced upon it once, but I don't know what may be guarding it this time."

Then he looked up at the armored man, not listening to him. Dom could take care of it...then someone made the mistake of slapping manacles on him. "Hold on!" "You tin plated weasels have ten seconds to get these off before I pulverize you...and I don't need my hands to do it!" "Your pal was fine when I last saw him...except for being asn irredeemable asshole...."

The elf sipped down the last of his glass and motioned for another.

“Who are these rouge mages you speak of? I don’t mind joining up in the least. It’s the most interesting band of adventurers I‘ve ever traveled with, I have to say.”

What about the ogre and that shape shifter you used to run with? Elistraee raised her head from off his shoulder.

Straee, somehow I don’t think they care.

Suddenly there were guards all over the place, and Jasleth and Dominic were cuffed.

Elistraee, where in the nine hells did they come from?

The front door, obviously

Thalryn let his hands rest on the hilts of his swords, ready for some sign from Jas or Dominic to act.

Skyler

She stood as the guards mentioned Seth's name and cuffed Jasleth. "Now you just wait a minute. Sir Falcon was fine jst a short time ago and these men have been here so they couldn't have touched him."

One of the guards looked to her, then pushed her back into her chair. "You stay back miss or you'll go with them."

Jasleth

"10.......9......Better start making some sense soon boys." The monk glared at the bared swords pointed his way. "Don't think those little metal sticks of yours will be any help." "7, by the way..."

Elistraee jumped at the face of the guard captain, casting random light effects that blinded the rest of the ten gaurds.

Thalryn exploded into motion, drawing in one fluid motion both swords and flipped over the table, bringing down his blades on the cuffs and shattering the chains as he landed. He punched one gaurd who started to recover from the bright light, further adding to his confusion.

"Let's get the hell out of here!"

Dominic

The head guard smacked the the younger guard that pushed Skyler with his sword hilt. "Moron! Remember! She isn't to be touched!"

He turned to Jas and Dom. "Listen, you fallen monk, don't open your mouth. You are in enough trouble as it is. Lord Falcon was found dying from severe concussions outside of the guard house by another guard. That guard heard him mumble two names, 'Jasleth' and 'Dominic'. He says he remembers seeing him leave with two fellows, a monk and a seer who had turned to stone. Seth, right before he died, called you two out as the ones who stabbed him."

"Now I suggest you don't start anything. These guards aren't the only ones waiting for you. If you try to attack us, you will be put down." He straightened, getting back into character. "You will be held for trial tomorrow. Until then, you will stay the night in the jail cells. Please come with us."

I turned to Jas frantically, telling him not to attack. I didn't want to start anything yet. This would end up being a big misunderstanding. I didn't want anyone to die, least of all us.

Too late. The elf was already bursting into action and Jas would be shortly. Aw, hell....here it goes....

I got up and kicked away the guard who had pushed Skyler. I turned around and immediatly felt an arrow enter my leg. I wheezed in shock and pain. What the hell!?

I crumpled to the ground as more arrows rained into the bar through the windows. Archers appeard at every window and door.

Damn. Slip thought. They musta loved that Seth guy.

The head guard came over and placed his blade against my neck. "NOW! Stop it! Or He will lose more than a hole in his leg!

She saw the others move, but couldn't move to stop them, then came the rain of arrows. She saw Dominic hit the floor, she was quickly at this side only to be pushed roughly away.

The guard that had pushed her before was there again after recovering from Dominic's kick. " I said stay back."

She looked on as the other guard quickly placed his sword against Dominic's neck. She jumped to her feet." STOP THIS... Everyone stop."

She looked to the one who seemed in charge, "There has got to be a mistake. Daminic and Jasleth have been here since we returned. You can ask anyon in here."

Thalryn

The elf’s eyes flared as he swatted three arrows out of the air, only to watch a blade come to a halt at Dominic’s neck. Elistraee jumped to the ground and vanished half way to the floor.

Straee, get the hell out of here so I can port to you if the need arises. Get to the roof, if at all possible.

His thoughts went to Kryss. Should he trust her? Guess there was only one way to find out.

Nevermind, Straee. Go find Kryss

On the way

Thalryn stopped dead, but didn’t sheath the blades. Now they’d want to bring him in, probably.

Elistraee, I hope your out of here.

ryss ~

All the while of being in deep meditation, something was tickling. Or feeling me. At first it was tickle, then it slowly became more real. Opening my eyes to see nothing, didn't think anything of it, closeing my eyes once again.

There it was again, felt like it was wrapping it's self around me. Feeling every inch of my body, trancing my mind so I wouldn't open my eyes again. Felt like hands were grabbing me, holding me down. Not forcefully, taunting me. Kissing came upon my neck, deep feeling surrounding me.

what's going on? mmmmm that feels too good.... What is it?...

Lifting me in the air a few feet, it was so real, yet when I went to reach for whatever it was, wanting to feel it. Nothing was there?!?

"m-m-m- what ... who are you?...I .. I can't do this... oh-h-h that..mmm.."

There was no response, opened my eyes to try and see, nothing but darkness all around me. Suddenly felt something move between my legs, tried to stop it. Part of me was scared, only to arouse me all the more. What felt like fingers at first, became something bigger as it explored my inner depths. Causing me to moan and writh in its grasps.

It was getting bigger, stretching me as much as it could. Screams came out, except no sound followed. It was relentlessly thrusting into me, till I was in a state of continous orgasms. It felt like it wouldn't stop, there was no end to it. Then there were lips on my mine, kissing me with more passion that I had ever felt.
In a heart beat it was gone.

Leaving me lying there, weak and quivering. Closed my eyes one last time, trying to figure out what just happened. Did I just cheat on Jas? Or was a dream, no couldn't have, I wasn't sleeping. Was I? Oh god what just happened. Felt to real to be dream?!?

Struggled to stand up, walking slowly at first. Pretty shaky, it happened so fast. How will I explain this. Should I explain it?
Stood there a few moments..

"Ok girl, get a grip. Calm down, lets just get back the inn. Straight to the room and take a hot bath. Yea that's it. Hottest bath possible...."

Walked slowly at first thinking of what I'm going to say, my scent was so strong there was no getting past what happened. Even though I had no idea what it was. I'm in trouble, what if it comes back for more? It knows how weak I am now, hell I didn't even tell it to stop. What's wrong with me.

On the way back to the castle there was an odd black mist surrounding the castle. Luckliy I was able to make my way to the Inn before it got to thick. Walked in the inn making eye contact with Skyler between all the guards, both Dom and Jas cuffed. Suddenly forgetting everything that had happened to me. I ran to them.

"What's the meaning of this? Why are they in cuffs? They have done nothing wrong?"

Considering my recent mishap, my tone was calm and confused. Not letting it known that something happened to me. Caught Jass' eyes and held for a few moments scared of losing him to these guards.

Dominic

I groaned as the knight lifted me by the neck and pulled the arrow out of my leg. I grunted in pain.

"Get this man patched up and brought to the jail cells immediatly. Bring the other along with him. I don't want any other mishaps."

I groaned and turned to the others. "Jas...just do it...I don't want to endanger anyone else. These guards could be players...just like us..."

"Skyler...Kryss...Tharlyn...Don't worry about us...this is all a big misunderstanding...."

The knight snorted and turned to Thalryn. "And you...you are going to pay for all the damages here. With the money from your own pocket. If you don't have it, you'll be washing dishes." He turned. "Take the convicts to the cells."

Skyler

"No this isn't right. I'm going along. There has to be a way to figure this out tonight." She was worried for their safety, she wondered what had happened.

She was sure that Seth would have ruffled a few feathers once he began telling everyone what a jerk he was. She had let him live, and he repays her by screwing her friends.

She would have to find out something before morning.
