Who Is Lying About Iraq?

Thank you.

And yes, I did support the invasion based on the information available to me at the time.

But I would much rather admit I was wrong and back up my reasons for why I think it was wrong than sit around and pretend that this war was a good idea and spout the republican talking points for the day.

And with that, I'm off to dinner. I'm having Peking Duck at a top chinese restaurant with cousins who are in from out of town.
What a coincidence!

The democRats are playing Washington Duck as they try to get out of that vote tonight!

Before you run out Zippy be sure to call your congressman and DEMAND he vote tonight!

Bon Appatite!

Yeah, well, he said Americans were torturing people in Abu-Booboo prison the same as Sadaam did.

I guess he wasn't full of shit then.

The members of the Senate Intelligence Committee voted against it. They knew more than what the Administration was feeding to the rank and file and the American people.

I still can't comprehend the cosmic forces at play that let that idiot live while his brothers got gunned down.

Contained being the key word since that seems to be enough for Zippy when it came to Saddam.

Yes but Zippy and the rest KNOW things are just as bad now as when Saddam and his boys were running amouk!

They know this because to admit otherwise complicates their "Bush Lies" mantra.

If one of your patients answers your question with a question, would you think they were being evasive?

That would be among the possibilities.

I assumed your question was rhetorical. The question of who we're fighting in Iraq is awfully important and it seems there are lots of misconceptions about it.

Six bullets, and not one hit Yoko...

This will send the neo cons fleeing in my wake AGAIN, lol...

To BlewGuysInLevis and all the rest of you neo con chickenhawk traitors and cowards

If you want to save Iraq, go for it.
If you want to free any foreign country's people, by all means, go for it.

But I'll be god damned if I'm ever going to support you using my tax dollars and putting our troops' lives at risk to save other nations.

I pay taxes to support my nation. Not Iraq. You anti tax freaks want to cut domestic programs for your fellow citizens but then you want to tax the fuck out of us - nearly $100 for every man, woman and child in America - to go liberate Iraq? Fuck you and the two-faced globalist horse you rode in on.

MY TAX DOLLARS ARE FOR MY PEOPLE AND NO ONE ELSE, assholes. There's no fucking negotiation on that issue.

I don't pay taxes to Uncle Saddam. I pay my taxes to Uncle Sam. Got that yet?

And the same goes for America's troops. You don't have the moral right to spill the blood of our soldiers for some other people when it has nothing to do with the defense of our nation. Iraq was absolutely no threat to America.

Just because your asses are too cowardly to sign up with the mercenaries and liberate the world on your dime and your time, doesn't mean I as a tax paying citizen owe the world my hard earned income to make it happen.

Why don't you save our hard earned tax dollars for OUR nation and run a TELETHON for Iraq?

Oh yeah, I forgot. You're AGAINST private charity for foreign nations, and FOR socialist spending for causes abroad. Somehow, in your twisted head, you call that PATRIOTISM and ANTI-TAX crusading.

Fuckturds. You'll probably too scared to respond to this because your hypocritical asses just got nailed to the wall.

But that's alright, though. The American people will tell you this in 2006. The ballot box ass kickings you're getting in 2005 is just a pale taste of what people like me will hand you next year.

America is getting sick of you and if you don't shape up, you may be forcibly shipped out.

I just don't get it.

Bush lied, but the Democrats who voted for the war say they were "fooled."

In 1998 Clinton ordered the bombing of what he called Iraq's ability to make WMD.

When I ask a simple question about who some of you think is kiling GI's and Iraqi citizens, nobody answers.

When I ask if AQ would be happy if we pulled out of Iraq, nobody answers.

And you say Bush lied? Gimme a break.

You're probably right. Why would the mob or anyone else want him dead when they could just stick him in their pocket.

So, if I refuse the bombing run, I'm sane. But if I choose to go on it...

Rhetorical?

It was very simple and direct. You're avoiding the question - big time.

Again...the question was who is killing GI's and Iraqi citizens in Iraq?

Jesus Denial Christ!

You seem to believe you already know the answer, but I'll give it a crack anyway.

The answer to your question, since your insistent is that our enemies in Iraq are primarily Iraqis who had no particular interest in fighting us prior to the invasion.

When the air and ground operation wound down in mid-September, nearly 200 insurgents had been killed and close to 1,000 detained, the military said at the time. But interrogations and other analyses carried out in recent weeks showed that none of those captured was from outside Iraq. According to McMaster's staff, the 3rd Armored Cavalry last detained a foreign fighter in June...

"Both Iraqis and coalition people often exaggerate the role of foreign infiltrators and downplay the role of Iraqi resentment in the insurgency," said Anthony H. Cordesman, a former Pentagon official now at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, who is writing a book about the Iraqi insurgency.

"It makes the government's counterinsurgency efforts seem more legitimate, and it links what's going on in Iraq to the war on terrorism," he continued. "When people go out into battle, they often characterize enemies in the most negative way possible. Obviously there are all kinds of interacting political prejudices they can bring out by blaming outsiders."

You WISH!,

Even if that were true...Why is Zarquari now attackingh JORDAN?????????????

Well, Ollie, the article isn't what you thought. If you read the entire article you would have seen this:

"We do believe that the major players are in Zarqawi's network, and that's why we're focusing our operations against him," Lynch said in a recent interview. "We believe that the most lethal piece of the insurgency here is the terrorist and foreign fighters. And it's because of the level of violence they're willing to go to to accomplish their objective, which is to derail the democratic process and discredit the Iraqi government."
