Words you hate in a sex story

Spencer Tracy - Katherine Hepburn - 1952 - Pat and Mike. “Not much meat on her, but what there is is choice.” Spoken in a harsh New York accent.

Pussy is a nice way of describing a woman’s vagina, in a loving way, and sounds better than vagina which sounds very clinical. Cunt you use in a story in which the copulation is frequently rough sex not love.

I hate the size description used by many writers such as “DD tits” and “12 inch cock.” I think it’s better to infer such things than be specific. Leave it up to the mind of the reader. Unless the story is intended for Master Bates and his parents in which the story itself isn’t important.

I would welcome a more pleasing term than “fucked her in the ass.” Any suggestions?

Ass fucked works great when it isn't about sex but a situation. And as far as a substitute for anal sex, no idea. I fucked the hell out of his boi pussy works for gay sex. Tender, loving, anal copulation doesn't have a good ring to it.,

I don't want to take anything away from the writer and character voices. This is purely personal taste, but the three for me are penis, vagina, and buttocks. All three are clinical in a way that makes me think less sexy and more about sex education classes, which... urgh.

I don't think I've used "buttocks," but I'm not sure why I wouldn't.

"Vagina" is trending for me. I read some blog where women said they preferred it, so I experimented with it. I don't think it has to be clinical.

I think my Halloween story was the first time I used "penis." As with "vagina," I don't think the effect has to be clinical. In that story "Penis" and "Vagina" became the main characters' nicknames for each other. They were Paul Penis and Virginia Vagina.

I hate the C word. I'd never call a pussy a C but I would call a woman a C. I have in stories. But the word burns my ears to hear it and my eyes when I see it. To me, it's as offensive as the N word.

I was introduced to the word "cunt" such that I noticed it by reading Victorian porn when I was too young to be reading Victorian or any other porn. So the major association it has for me is a little fussy and quaint and old-fashioned. It's almost up there with "priapus." I use it as an occasional variation, in writing.

I use "buttocks" a lot.

I’m curious… The word 'ebony' used to be commonplace in pornography, erotica, smut...

In 2021, it feels kind of dated (and possibly skeevy), or is that just me?

I don't know, just pick your darkness you wish to use, ebon, jet, black, jet-black, coal-black, inky, pitchy, sooty, fuliginous, dusky, sable; dark, swarthy, swart.

I use swarthy a often, I love the sound of the word. She was a swarthy beauty, with golden eyes, and full, succulent lips, which beckoned me to kiss them.

To elaborate a bit, it is not the adjectives per se, but the phrases in which they occur that are so nails-on-a-chalkboard for me.

So no 'throbbing cock' or 'perky breasts' (boobs, etc) but maybe okay for other nouns.

These don't offend:

throbbing clit
perky navel
bubble-butt chest (?)

Bubble-butt chest, lol. I don't think bubble-butt is redeemable. Good try though.

I read one story where a woman had buoyant, bountiful breasts. I don't they would actually float though, but it was a different way of saying big tits!

That's how I feel about the R word but just today 2 people used it on memes on reddit. I honestly didn't think it was an acceptable slang word these days. I find it so offensive and when someone uses it I have no respect for anything they say.

The R word?

Rabbit? Rhododendron? Rutabaga? I'm stumped.

That's precisely why I chose to use it in my first Anal story this summer. It's done well both in views and score, and I didn't get any comments suggesting disapproval of the phrase in the text of the story or in the title.

This thread is amusing. We all have our preferences and our likes and dislikes, but I hope nobody comes away from this thread with the idea that there are words or phrases one absolutely should not use, because there's no such thing. Depending upon the needs and the tone of the story, any word or phrase can find a place.

As for me, I can't think of any words that truly disturb me. I'm sure everything is allowed as long as the context is right.

I'm kind of surprised nobody is complaining about the word "moist" but I think most have realized that "damp pussy" doesn't sound all that appealing.

The one time I took a creative writing class, there was a written rule about never using the words "so" or "deep" unless you used the combination of the two ironically.

No one that spends time on reddit should complain about what they see, its the biggest cesspool on the internet and if you're on it, you're supporting it.

I used 'bubble butt' (unironically) in the second paragraph of a 7 lit page story. That story is my highest rated of anything I've posted. It was even the top rated of the month in its' category, and is doing well on the first page for the all time top list.

Still not redeemable though, lol.

Penis and vagina work in small doses, certainly breaking up a monotonous use of cock and pussy.

Labia and vulva work well when trying to mix it up and be more specific about what parts are being seen, touched, licked etc.

I get peeved when authors use the word vagina when they mean vulva.

Yeah, different things. I'm looking for a time to use "vulva" and I haven't ventured there yet. It will probably come in the form of "he took her whole, soft vulva in his mouth ... "
