I was looking out of a window from a building in Midtown Manhattan directly at the World Trade Center when I saw a second plane at a tremendous speed go into the second tower.

We've seen for ourselves how hard he works, and there's no fucking way he was in his office at 9AM.

He's also claimed he had "hundreds" of friends die on that day, when there's no evidence he even knew one, or went to a single 9/11-associated funeral.

In honor of the 20th anniversary

In a matter of hours, it will be 20 years since I sat here at Lit with one eye on the TV and one eye following this thread. It is like a time capsule of memories for me to see this thread again. Bumping it is my way of remembering each year.

So much has changed in 20 years. I'm sure there are members at Lit now who weren't even born on 9/11/01. The youngsters that were here back in 2000, 2001 are now probably about the age I was when I first found Lit back then. A whole generation has shifted here, but I'm glad to see that fellow geezers are still here. Still arguing about the same things as 20 years ago, too. LOL But this one thread still unites all of us from back then, when none of us had a clue what was going on on that day.

I don't always read this thread each year, but this year, I think I will take the time to read the whole thing. Not many people have such documentation to bring them back to their exact thoughts as the events of that day were taking place.
