I absolutely would. My occupation requires me to meet new people regularly and I've always enjoyed it. Seldom have I ever come away from a meeting, be it coffee or a contract, where I didn't feel that I'd learned something about that person. Sometimes it is something negative but more times than not, I get positive vibes from people. There have been times that a good cup of hot black coffee went a long way toward a new friendship.

Yes, definitely would have coffee. I agree with 5by5, sex may or may not be on the table, depends on how the chemistry is. But meeting someone for coffee is always a safe and good start to friendship or more.
