Since there have been threads about movies lately, I thought it would be fun to talk about the cartoons we like, or liked growing up. Five seemed like a good number to go with. So here's my list:

1. Voltron
2. Transformers
3. He-man
4. M.A.S.K.
5. Looney Tunes (Daffy's my favorite one.)

Script gave me the Hellsing set one year for Chrstmas and yes it is awesome. The guy they have doing Alucard's voice is great.

OMG M.A.S.K.! I thought I was the only human on the planet that remembered that. Ooh, and the Dinosaucers, Dino Riders, Centurions, Visionaries and Inhumanoids. Good times. Why can't they bring out stuff like that these days?

Nope, don't recall it. We didn't get as many of the good cartoons back in England where I lived during the 80's.

Not too sure what an OVA is. It was a box with 4 DVD's, each one had 3 episodes. It started with him taking on a priest in an abandoned church, if that helps.

well it only ran for a season anyways. I think it came on at like 6:00am too, back when I didn't mind getting up then.

Yeah, I remember how magical that was when the world went became in color.

(I recently was reminded when a friend got the dvd for her kids of watching the first episode of Hogan's Heroes - the pilot - in black and white. It must have been a weekend based on where I was, I think, and of course was like the first week or two back to school after summer - yuck. Anyway, the second episode a week later was in color.)

*Gasp* Shudder. Of course my Atari 2600 games used to be in Black and white too. On my little 10 inch television.

Yeah, it's a fair bit darker.

It's not up yet but the confrontation between Luke Valentine and Alucard is rather frightening. Much more so than the series.

I've gotten to like Hellsing quite a bit. Might actually see if I can find DVD copies.

Oh and to show how old I am, my family had one of the original Pong games. Only in black and white even if you had a colour TV.
