I have never figured out why he wasn't a bigger star. The lead for The Replacements, he had two of the best songs on one of the best movie soundtracks ever, Singles. This one feels like it was written for me -- I am lousy at flirting, and worse at knowing when I a being flirted with. Really lousy, heh.

Did I tell you I used to work at her old estate in Malibu? I was something. The bar with the carving of her as a naked Mermaid was the most Hollywood thing I’ve ever seen.

One of my favorite songs from Brandon's solo work. Some of the saddest lyrics but the beat is fire as you'd expect when sampling one of the best 80s songs (iykyk, I'm not breaking any rules) so I still adore it.
