I’m with you. Smaller venues are def best. Some of our better ones her interest closed during covid and beer reopened.Day 19: A song from a band you haven’t seen live but want to (alive)
It's funny, I can only remember one instance of me thinking I've wanted to see a band live. Going to concerts has just happened when it happened and was always wonderful. I've been to mainly smaller, intimate venues with bands who aren't always mainstream. They may become that way later (Wolfmother, Mumford and Sons, and Awolnation come to me as those kinds of shows) and others definitely should be. The big arena shows are kinda too much for me. I saw Mumford and Sons at both a venue with only 50 people in attendance and another stadium show that had 15,000. Both were amazing in their own ways. Loved the small setting so much better.
Anyways. The Whitlams are the only band I've wanted to see live. I imagine their shows would evoke that feeling that kind of intimacy I love.

Love that. I hope you can get to the show!!!!Day 19: A song from a band that you haven’t seen live but want to (alive)
I want to see Cyndi Lauper SO. Badly. And she is coming here in concert next week. I’m still trying to figure out a way that I can go to the show.
“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” was the first album I remember buying for myself. She was the first artist I remember fawning over and crying over… there is just something about her that is magnetic and magic. I just love her.
