As it stands today

Then you also accept "shall not be infringed." Right? I mean it's like that's "verbatim" and everything.

Basically you, like most of the dumfuks on the Left, don't really know what you're talking about and instead only spew the lib fantasy talking points.

Those talking points sort of gloss over the issue of whether Trump was ever adjudicated as having "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" and instead go right to the end game of a proclamation that he did so. And you do it while lamenting the fact that no court ever heard the matter because all the judges are Trump appointees (which is about the STUPIDEST and most internally contradictory thing you've ever said).
Actually what he accepts is that he's appointed himself judge, jury, and executioner.

Well, everything seems to be lining up nicely. Trumps most controversial nominees are winning over the Senate and barring some unforeseen surprise will most likely win approval. To say that their appointments will be transformational would be an understatement.

On the foreign affairs front both allies and adversaries are falling in line as well. Mexico and our new state of Canada (*chuckle*) are kissing the ring. Of all the silly things taking place Russia is putting tariffs on Chinese imports. Maybe that ‘strategic’ alliance isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Iran is quickly becoming a foot note in the history books. And while Iran’s dilemma is mostly due to Israel’s actions there is no doubt that Israel will be given the full backing of the US should Iran want to play silly games.

China is the wild card in all of this. Xi is still making noises like he’s in control of everything but I believe that is mostly for internal consumption. The key signal to watch here is whether Xi accepts Trumps invitation to attend the inauguration. The world is decoupling from China and they have way too much excess manufacturing capacity. So they are selling at or below cost and the government is subsidizing the losses just to maintain employment. That only works for so long because you can’t collect taxes from companies losing their ass financially. Most of the Provinces are so underwater financially due to corrupt real estate manipulations that there is little hope that the central government can save their ass.

All in all it’s looking bright enough that I might have to put my shades on.

Well, that depends on what the definition of "is" is.
I wish I had been on the Congressional committee when Clinton said that.

I would have said, "'Depends on what "is" is'!?

"Mister President! Will you please make it clear once and for all to this committee and to the American people: Is you is, or is you ain't, my baby?!

"The way you actin' lately makes me doubt."

Throwing a bunch of superlatives (and/or hyperbolic nonsense) into an appearance of a sentence is the only thread starter requirement for the forum.

As it stands today, 38 Republicans refused to be part of the paradigm and steadfastly cling to Leviathan for comfort (if not envy, i.e., revenge) proving a prescient understanding of reality on my part. Johnson is toast. You cannot lead in the old paradigm for leadership was censorship by the cancel, so he has attempted to manage consensus.

Congress must be herded by fear, the people must provide the fear, and the call to action comes from the bully pulpit, and leaders know how to use the power of the soapbox, President Obama did. I believe President Trump will hammer Congress into shape with the power of HIS social media.

I forgot to use crayons. My apologies. THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE

I was trying to talk down to y'all. You could have at least accused me of condescension...

Rhetoric was all he had.

It was all he needed.

Well, first he layered up with Axelrod and then he gained disciples in high places. People who also wanted to "change the world."

I credit him with putting the finishing touches on the 60s as we similarly are seeing the great civil rights movement devolve into men violating women as a right, returning back to, well past before the 50s..., just as MLK's dream of equality turned into the Socialist dreams of a father and a desire for revenge and an envy of what he never had, that 50s life he saw on TV, the medium of Satan. I see that now. The secular satan.

It gave us Camelot.

One note of caution, this is but a tide, we saw it ebb, it will ebb again, but we must look fixedly at a better future (all good mass movements promise a better future) if we are going to allow it to evolve. We must demonstrate ably that it does not have to be created. We are not lesser gods to delegate greater gods of creation.

(In this, I offer the displaced hope for a change of Fortuna.)

I still think that there's a skeleton in a closet somewhere which will finish tanking Paddy's Wondemousness. I felt that the shine wore off it pretty quickly. Something never quite computed.
