BDSM Thread - Show Us Your Face!

I googled this, and apparently the losing team did vote out a contestant after team challenges at least on season 1, but this year was season 13, so lots has changed. :)

The friendly, helpful thing is what makes MCA stand out for me, and the competitive but not *competitive* spirit of it, if you know what I mean.

The contestants have gotten crazy good in the last seasons, it's insane what kinds of things they do. I was worried when the judges were changed, but I liked the new trio a lot in the newest season. I like the long seasons too, because it really showcases how they improve over the season. And yes, it's so inspiring! Usually it's clear in my cooking when a new season is out and I'm watching it. :D

Whoever the female judge is this season, she has the most amazing wardrobe!

I was thinking about what you must have to do when you know you're going to try out for MC ... like, learn a lot of basic recipes really well. I couldn't make a sponge if my life depended on it, but five of them just whipped one out like it was nothing on the episode I watched today. Along with a creme anglaise. Now I'm googling sponge recipes.

Looks like I missed all the action here.

MasterChef Australia doesn’t make the cooks vote to eliminate someone.

Or if the very early seasons did (I’ve watched them and I don’t remember that happening, but it could be I’ve just forgotten), the new ones definitely don’t. The seasons are massive, but it’s easily my favorite iteration of MasterChef. The contestants are very good, it’s positive, all the contestants are friendly and help and root for each other and the show celebrates diversity in cooking.

Yes, I'm still in Season 1 and the cooks do vote the elimination. Good to know that changes later. I'll muddle on through, if that's the case.

I know I posted a couple of my fun photo shoot - thought I'd post another:

A colleague said this morning that I looked ready to slay this morning when I got to the office, which was so not how I felt.

But somehow the selfie I took after the conversation looks a lot more slayerish than usual as well. Curious. Clearly at some point I’ve gotten good at hiding my fear of dragons and deadlines that approach way too quickly.

You do have a confident look and your eyes are beautiful :)
