How do we upload pictures ?

When you hit reply, you'll see a toolbar pop up. Between the chain (link) and smiley (emoticon), there is an icon of a picture. Mouse over it, and it will say "insert image."

But, hold on.

When you hit it, up will pop something that will be preset to "Drop Image (or click here)." This is what you use if you want to upload a pic to the Lit server directly. If you click it, you can browse for a pic from your hard drive and upload it. If, that is, it fits the size restrictions.



And, yes, as a matter of fact, I am singing "Fire" in my best Elmer Fudd voice.

Most people seem to be using a third-party site to upload, I think Imagur is the one I usually see (although I generally get a 404), then using the "by URL" option to link it over from the other site. I'm not sure why they do this, unless maybe it's to skirt arguments on whether it's too big, or possibly linking from a curated portfolio across several sites or something.
