DEI criticism is a dog whistle for racists and misogynists.

Biden picked Harris because she is a qualified black woman, as qualified as any other candidate. As with any VP, she's done well in some areas and poorly in others. That has nothing to do with her race or gender except for the different perspectives she brings to the table.
And her race and gender has nothing to do with her ability to be President...except for any glass ceilings she may shatter along the way

It was a gender-based DEI hire. After Biden explicitly stated he would make sex and race a defining criteria, its amusing to observe the left trying to run from it.

But, IMHO, babyboo (and I hate to have to say something that will make him feel good) doesn’t care about ideology, he manipulates it.

No reason to run from it. It's a strength to add diversity. The weakness is from the racist and misogynistic right who think that choosing women and non-white people means unqualified people.

Might as well wear a sign saying that you're racist and misogynistic.

My questions to you stand. I’m not running from it at all. I think representation is 100% needed. The concept is what our country was founded on.

The question is whether Kamala was hired because of her gender and skin color and suddenly we see the Left now trying to argue that R's are against any woman being President.

It's not about whether a woman can be President, because of course a woman can be, but whether Kamala Harris is fit to be President, because she isn't since she was selected as VP based on DEI criteria and not qualification.

MERIT doesn't care about your skin color or whether your reproductive bits are inside your body or outside it. Our President should be elected based on merit and nothing else. The Left doesn't understand that because to them it's all pretty colors and rainbows.
 
Black women, for decades, overwhelmingly voted democrat. Overwhelmingly supported Joe Biden.
Just as trump has begged billionaire tech bros to fund his campaign in exchange for a, checks notes, quid pro quo tax cut - it makes sounds political sense to appoint qualified black females a seat at the democratic political table.

Then you definitely shouldn’t vote for her. I, on the other hand, have wanted her to win since 2020. I am certain that the fact the she was my first pick is documented here somewhere.

I only the other hand, live in the State where she was AG and one of our Congressional senators and KNOW she'd be the worst person for the job in the history of mankind.

No glass ceiling, an equal playing field, minorities not being discriminated, and an end to the good old boy system threaten mediocre white men who long made the self serving rules.

It’s nothing to do with the sharing of state residence - I 💯% get why YOU of all people fear Harris.
