Typical "stay at home" stuff. I'm over it already. We're all healthy, though, so there's that.

How's yourself? Staying out of trouble?

i got caught in spain when the whole lockdown thing started. got home, though. Routine is pretty normal apart from no work at the moment. which isn't that much different because i only worked maybe 3 or 10 days a month. i don't mind the isolation either 'casue i dislike people in general! ;)

This will give you plenty of writing time, though! I'm glad you made it home, so you can...do nothing! :D

"I am used to the regularity of having someone who looks over me, even if he wants good for me.. The constant check ups gave me a sense of being loved, and cared for. Now I have to check up after myself and its nowhere near the same."

I understand that completely. What I still don't get is why messages don't come as frequently as they used to, when all it takes is a few minutes of time. It work both ways -- it's not just the DD who should be checking in. But, how many of us have had the feeling of apparently not being as important as you thought you were?

People! If you care for someone, MAKE time for them. Yes, I know there are those working from home. There's not as much freedom as before, maybe...but, as I said, it only takes a few seconds to pop out a text.

Now isn't the time to just go silent. Stop being selfish and thinking, "I'm too busy" or "there's already too much going on". If something or someone is important, figure it out. Make sure they KNOW they're important.

I read this today:

If I am not the most precious thing in the world to him, then I am not really his babygirl.

I know that it's just one person's opinion, and it may not feel applicable to everyone here, but I thought it was a good reminder to those of us who sometimes forget to value ourselves as highly as we ought.

Oh that looks so lovely and peaceful!

It’s been grey and rainy here all day, I prefer it to be dark and stormy with lots of thunder if it’s going to rain..but a day in a quiet garden, with the sun shining down, sounds absolutely wonderful right now

I know! I don't know where this garden is, but I want to be there putering around.

erm ... tough shit. ;)

but, seriously, i get you, but some people (not you, obv. :D) need telling what to do.

Right...no, common sense. These are the people who caused Conair to put tags saying "Do not use in the bath" on all the hairdryers.

😄

I may need another frog story to beat the monotony. ;)

I can't imagine you without some doggies to care for! Swans are nice and I bet it's relaxing to watch them.
