Do women love big cocks more?

I've been told on multiple encounters, over the years, that girth is the most important factor. That does make sense from the standpoint of optimal stimulation. Of course, this is by no means a scientific survey. ;)

And you're quite right -- knowing how to use it makes all the difference.

Happy and naughty New Year, btw!!

Your survey might not be scientific but add me to it - girth is the most important factor to me too :giggle:

One of the interesting aspects of the "size" discussion is not just the the level of misinformation and distortion, but also the variety of forms it takes.

We are all certainly aware of the premise (true IMO) that porn greatly distorts our perception of typical penis sizes. Meanwhile the point has been made that many guys (especially online) exaggerate the size of their penis or engage selective measurement techniques to make a false claim. Of course there is also the raging debate about whether size matters or not, a topic on which I have often commented (the answer is yes but not to all women and not as much as men imagine). The latest distortion seems to be the selective use of statistics to try to prove that big dicks are not only somewhat uncommon (true), but as rare as hen's teeth (not true).

Based on her own personal non scientific survey my wife agrees with you in regard to circumference .

Good read for dispelling myths about penis size.

A lot of people think they have been with 8-inchers. Statistically it's highly unlikely. I don't find that most people have a good eyeball for measurements, especially penises. If the guy was good in bed then s/he'll probably round up and be generous to make him sound impressive. Obviously we know people with penises will round up their own size. :)

That plus porn and body dysmorphia / size shaming have made it easy to exploit size for all kinds of purposes.

Note I'm not saying there's anything wrong with liking big dicks. Just that most people exaggerate, whether they have a dick or not.

And yes I say this knowing full well my avatar glorifies size. Thinking about changing it, just haven't had the time (and not sure if I can, Lit's sytem is a mess).
Just curious as to how measuring along the top is deemed the standard. I mean, I know that author is adamant on that point, but he does not cite any authority for that proposition. I cannot find anything in the NIST book of standards that addresses this question. https://www.nist.gov/publications/s...hnical-requirements-weighing-and-measuring-15

I know that among the penises which I have measured, the length is consistently 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch longer if the measurement is taken along the underside, from the point at which the penis meets the srotum to the little hole at the tip. But this does allow me to truthfully state that I have a penis a little over 7 inches in length. When fully engorged.

Of course, my sample of measurements is rather small and might not meet scientific standards.

I'm male and love cocks of all sizes and shapes, black and white, would suck men of other races also. A big hard dick is beautiful and deserves to be worshipped, orally loved, teased, and made to explode with streams of cum. Had one 8 inch thick, cut white dick that flared wider in the middle of his shaft. Nice round balls that filled my hand. He was older and I just loved giving him a long blow job. Most guys I've sucked off were 5 or 6 inches long, some bigger than that. A thick hard cock is marvelous to fill my oral cavity with it's strength and hardness. Oh yes I love it.

Distorts in one literal sense... I have some friends & work contacts in that biz, and it surprises a lot of people to find out that not only are a lot of the actresses in adult work tiny (like under 5'4", often by 2 or 3 inches), but many of the GUYS are relatively short, like 5'8"-5'9". This is 'cause the same size dick looks bigger proportionally on a 5'8" dude than a 6' dude, and it looks much bigger when then slap it on a 5'1" girl's stomach than a 5'8" girl's stomach.
There's an amusing scene with Rocky Emerson (she's 6'3") and another performer whose name escapes me, but who's around 5'4", where they're laying on a bed side by side & the male performer stands between each of their legs and slaps his cock down. On the short girl it goes to her belly button. On Rocky it's not even close.
Take a little time to look around the IAFD at performer heights and you'll see what I mean.
That's also a reason they like slimmer women.

I think logically if you measured a curved banana along the bottom it would be longer than the top. So it's not the same as a straight penis. Plus consider that that's the amount of dick going inside someone. My suggestion is go with the bottom. I'm curved too of course hahahah.

This seems to be an ongoing topic on Lit so I will toss in my thoughts as an older woman. I have never been with a man with a very small cock but I find that average ones work perfectly well as long as they have a good erection. That said I have enjoyed a few larger ones. Perhaps 9" being the largest. They can be fun but for me it may be more about proving that I can take a bigger one. I am not sure the sex is better but it is different and I do enjoy variety. One does have to be a bit more careful with the bigger ones and make sure you are ready for it. I will also agree with many of the women on here that girth is more important than length. It just seems to make better contact with my clit. I will add that I have seldom measured a man so it is just my perception of how it feels.

I agree with you. There are so many elements of a good sexual experience that it would be unrealistic to identify one thing (such as cock size) as being most important or providing a better experience. All other things being equal I do prefer larger than average, but all other things are never really equal. So it would be more appropriate to say that each man offers a different package of characteristics and one of the ones that I do enjoy sampling is a larger penis. It isn't necessarily better but it is part of the variety that I enjoy.

As I've noted before it is a bit like food for me. I like a wide variety of dishes. Let's suppose that a big dick is the metaphorical version of steak. I like steak. Do I like it better than chicken or fish? No. But there are times that I am in the mood for steak and at that moment in time I prefer it to the alternatives.

I am on the larger side of the cock size spectrum (length and girth) and my wife on the smaller side of the pussy size spectrum - made more so sensitive post menopause.
Her 1st words upon entry are usually 'you're too big' - She's being sweet and giving me a positive reminder to go slowly.

My tease is asking if she wished my cock were smaller, and she always emphatically says, 'no way.'

Tim, we'd all prefer our men to have a Ferrari to a Mini. In theory. But a Ferrari driven by an idiot who bounces it off parked cars is no fun compared to a skilfully driven mini.

Size is a lot more important than the guy attached to it.

And you're a fantasist. "...the men she chooses always seem to be at least twice my size"; yeah, cos the world is overflowing with 10" cocks.
Just speak english.

I have had a couple of girlfriends who were with guys with small dicks. The biggest differences they noticed is they couldn't always feel it when they were inside if they weren't able to see the guy going in. And they tended to fall out more and have to reinsert in the middle of thrusting.

I can only imagine the answer is yes for ladies as it is for me. I’m very particular and have a very strict set of criteria that needs to be met when I bat for the other side. I’m only into tranny’s, and the bigger the cock the better. This kind of sex for me is all about pleasure and intensity and it doesn’t get much more intense than a thick 8-9 inch cock deep inside you.

Well said and I agree completely. It is not just one thing that makes a good sexual encounter. I am currently seeing a man that is older, a bit overweight and very average endowment. However we have some mutual interests that we enjoy, museums and art galleries, so after an afternoon of enjoying that, I am very receptive and the sex is fun and satisfying. It is the entire experience not just the sex that makes it enjoyable.

I would say there are 2 main reasons, which are usable/insertable length and also consistency.

If you're measuring on the bottom, you are measuring a certain amount of non-usable length when it comes to sex.

Also, measuring on the top you have a consistent starting point in the pubic bone. Measuring on the bottom, you can get farther back as there is a part of the penis extending inside the body and you don't have the pubic bone to provide a consistent starting point.

Also, most scientific studies used bone pressed measurement as the standard for length (i.e.) on the top, pressed to the pubic bone.

You reference an important consideration that is often overlooked when it comes to women having extra-marital sexual relations. When we talk about other factors, I think people often assume that we mean other sexual factors. But I go on real dates that aren't just all about sex. From the guy's point of view I am sure it helps that he knows I put out. But I want a personal connection. Even if I do get together with a guy just for sex it will usually be someone with whom I already have that personal connection.

Mine is fairly large and have received compliments. When discussing it with past girlfriends there really is a limit in how big/thick they can taken and are diminishing returns if a guy is too small. The bigger factor is in how you use it.

So, I've recently had a little affair with an eighteen-year-old man who's a neighbor of mine. His cock is longer than Hubby's but not nearly as thick. I have no complaints about sex with him, but he doesn't stretch me like Hubby. And I like being stretched like that. 😈
