IMO, what you call yourself is up to you. Personally, I don't care for Domme simply because I don't see why dominance needs to be defined in masculine/feminine fashions. Although, I did like the 'Domina' I saw here in this thread. Although feminized, I didn't perceive it as 'lessened'. I allow Mistress, Emma, or Emma Ray. I don't tolerate nicknames, so those three either alone or mixed are the only 'titles' I go by, though I don't care much for Mistress either, ROFL! I'm with whoever said they wanted to be called Master!
My point is it doesn't matter to me how I'm labeled. And I, too, thought FemDom was a contraction of 'feminine dominant'. I never thought to look into the etymology of the term.
