JD Vance Fired by Trump Watch Thread

vance desperately distances himself from fuentes... how many votes will fuentes be able to strip from trump and how many will trump gain IF people suddenly believe he's not into fuentes?

I think the guy’s a total loser.

Republican vice presidential candidate, Sen. JD Vance (Ohio), said he “certainly” “disavows” far-right white supremacist Nick Fuentes, who criticized his wife, Usha Vance, for her Indian heritage, while arguing the best response is to “ignore” the attacks.

Fuentes, who dined at Mar-a-Lago with former President Trump in 2022, went after Vance and his family after he joined the former president’s reelection ticket last month.

JD would reply... 'People can change their views and realize they were wrong in their beliefs.'

Like he did when he reconsidered his views that Trump was more like Hitler than an American. Now, he doesn't view Trump in that light. He is so much older and wiser now. Perhaps his image as a cross-dresser was a party prank look rather than demeaning anyone, not like a claim of stolen valor issue. ;)

I can see why DonOld has a affinity for JD

Despite promising local jobs, the company eventually began contracting migrant workers from Mexico, Guatemala and other countries, numerous former employees told CNN.

While Vance stepped down from AppHarvest’s board and launched his political career in 2021, he remained an investor and supporter of the company. By the time he was sworn in to office last year, the company he’d hailed as a great opportunity was mired in lawsuits filed by shareholders angry over its plummeting stock price and allegations of fraud.

Several former employees told CNN they thought Vance and other board members should have recognized and responded to warning signs that company officials were misleading the public and their own investors.

To some, Vance’s enthusiastic promotion of the company followed an all-too-familiar story line in the region.

“Eastern Kentucky is well-known for people coming and going. They start up companies, then they disappear,” said former AppHarvest worker Anthony Morgan. “They didn’t care about us.”
