Lesbian/Bi/Gay Domme/sub

I agree with you as well, Dustygrrl. Were there to be a gay/lesbian/bi forum here I would support it.

It could draw many homosexual/bisexual people and become a valuable resource of community for them. If not, it might become more of a "everything you always wanted to know but were afraid to ask" forum with a few willing ambassadors but that could be an interesting place for many.

I am not against the idea of a lesbian, gay, bi forum at all, I simply have more interest personally in a pansexual BDSM forum. You are right though, there can be many forums.

I don't mind if it turns into a question forum. I would answer people's questions. It's no big deal and would indeed be a very interesting.
Yes, the pansexual forum is cool too :)

I enjoy talking to other gay and bi people because I'm not really able to be involved in that community at the moment. We have a lesbian bdsm group but they are so political that it makes me uncomfortable. They are too stuck on rules and titles. Don't get me wrong, rules are good but some of them are just pointless.

Bi Femme sub switch here.

We have a very large gay/lesbian/trans community here in Montreal but there is very little for bi women into BDSM. The lesbian clubs here are fun but there is no BDSM community that I could find. Thank you so much for starting this thread!!!

I am jealous, I am so distant from the community here. Not to mention the fact that I doubt it's legal to be gay in the small suburb where I live lol. I mean they ARE against goths, so why not gays too? I say that because they wouldn't allow Hot Topics to open up in the mall nearby. They said it too Gothy? DUH!

Welcome to thread, MsWorthy would be proud.

Oh wow, Dusty you must be a little cute! ;) Yup, I love the sales at Hot Topic. Yeah for half off of half off!

*blushing* Nah, you're just saying that.

Yes, the sales at Hot Topic are awesome. I got a double row pyramid bracer that was blue for $4 one day. And a shirt for $5. *grins* But now I don't have one near me.

Hi roxanne,

Out of curiousity I did a yahoo search on "Montreal BDSM".

Montreal BDSM

Looks as though there may be more BDSM about than obvious. :) You can also try more specific searches to your particular area, or include "clubs", "munches", "lesbian", "women", etc. in the search terms.

Thank you LarkSparrow, that was so kind of you! I do belong to that club and have been lurking in it for a very long time hoping to find something that interested me. They do have munches but they are definitely het oriented as is most of the BDSM scene I have found here. That was so thoughtful, thank you so much!

sends  to Dusty~

yeah, I bought this dress for $10 on the sale rack

Wow, that's an awesome dress. I wish I was skinny enough to wear something like that!

Questions are good. :) What would you like to talk about?

lol... I  all the labeling that goes on as well with being overly political... a string of titles a mile long. ;)

You're welcome. Sorry it didn't turn up something new for you!

LOL I know... Personally I think that the titles suck. Why can't we just be Submissive or Dominant Lesbians?

Labels really mean nothing to me at all. I am who I am.

Okay, here's a question...
When getting involved in the bdsm scene, especially in a predominately straight scene do you feel that you are well accepted?

I am not big on groups in general, so it also holds true in BDSM and lesbianism that I don't find myself immersed in labels or in specific groups - it's just not in my nature.

In the BDSM classes I have been to acceptance in being a lesbian is not a problem, and may or may not come up. In the clubs I have been to I am usually approached by male submissives in the hopes that I am a Domme. I don't explain my sexuality to anyone approaching me that I am not interested in so being a lesbian never comes up with them, just that I'm not interested. And I haven't done much public scening, it's usually private, so I have yet to test that out. But I would like to eventually, with my Domme so there is no question about my role or who I am there with, both in lesbian and pansexual atmospheres.

People never guess that I am lesbian. As is often the case heterosexuality is assumed. And usually men find it sexually stimulating and women are slightly curious and/or accepting, so I haven't run into very much resistance in this regard.

Generally speaking it's much easier and more comfortable to be in a lesbian space as then the assumptions made are a bit more on target, whereas in a straight venue, the assumptions made are horribly off base lol. Although in a lesbian space that seems to value and preach the butch/femme labels, I am not comfortable and would choose a more pansexual environment over that personally.

What's your experience?

I've been out of the public scene for awhile. But I just found this thread again!
Yes, in the lesbian scene it seems that labels are everything. We have a lesbian munch here and it's really strict. I mean really strict. You have to attend a class called SM101 before you can play at a play party but it's only given twice a year. I always miss the classes so I gave up lol

yay! a glbtaiqqbdsm (gaylesbianbitransasexualintersexedqueerquestioningbondagedisciplinesadismmasochism) thread... can you say alphabet soup?

but anyway, I'm posting here in hopes that I can get the thread moving again. I'm a stone butch (lesbian, I suppose), but we won't get into technical gender territory. I'm glad so many others are on here!

How large is the butch/femme community here?

And are there any gay men? I haven't seen too many lurking about, but then again I haven't been around here for too long.

Anyway, speak up! Show yourselves! We can friend-make! :nana:

Hm, it's still shorter than the chemical name for Tidon.

Hello Red. Welcome

I'm alphabet soup.

Bi-switch at my core - but only acting on the Top-gay aspects at this time.

Woo hoo, another thread that I lost when I accidentally clicked "unsubscribe all" a year or so ago! Thanks Red! By the way, we do have a GLBT part of Literotica, but if you want to discuss BDSM stuff from a queer perspective, it's better to do it here because that part of the board is less...ummm...well, better to do it here. *nods*

I am a femme dyke submissive with a wife and a Daddy. My wife is a bit toppish with me but it's not a real D/s relationship. She and my Daddy are also together, we are a triad poly thing, but I don't know if their D/s is as strong as mine is with Daddy. To be honest, I have NO desire to know! But I am happy with both relationships; my wife and I are blissfully happy after 8.5 years together, and my Daddy and I are doing much better following a few months of trouble earlier this year.

Well, I guess Jen and I are a bit unusual. It's not often enough you see a soft butch as a submissive to a female Domme :)

yeah, I figured as much that it would be better to talk about it here... anyway, I've had a good deal of internet glbt community and it doesn't interest me all that much anymore. Right now it's BDSM that I'm more interested in. I'm on a constant search for the subculture community that works for me, and I'm really liking this one so far. So that was a lot of words for a simple point: yes, thought so.

That sounds like a good deal of fun, although I'm not sure I could do poly myself. I'm glad you and your Daddy are doing better... it's always good to have a good relationship with him!

Fun shall be had on this thread.

You're familiar with alternative pronouns, I'm sure? I use 'em for my Daddy. I use these. :)
