Allie couldnt help but admit to herself how much she had enjoyed waking up in Jacks arms. She knew she couldn't say the words out loud as they exchanged soft kisses and admired each other's bodies before getting dressed and metting the car with abby and the rest of the group that too them back to the airfield for Jacks private plane.

She saw Abby slip something into her bag and chuckled knowing her new friend and business partner had always had something up her sleeve " I wont open it .. i promise"she said and smiled.

They all said their goodbyes and hugged and she and Jack were alone again and she could tell this weekend was weighing heavily on both of their minds. She admired the view as they took off and she heard him cough to get her attention and she smiled gently as she heard him netion more of their feal but was curious as he said there was something they hadn't discussed during their trip.

She saw he began to talk and Jack actually seemed a little flustered as he began and he told her how much he respected her resistance with sleeping with him. The line had been barely there for her, she had nearly slipped and wanted him to go all the way with her.

She blushed hearing him admit how much he wanted to make love to her and how he was sad that they held back but he felt that they grew together as a couple and team and he admired her being true to herself.

She was shocked he bought uo John and surpised moreso she had nearly forgot about him during her trip. She stared at him knowingly as he he also mentioned how much he hoped one day they could full enjoy each other.

She knew exactly what he meant, and she saw him get silent and anxious. She reached over grabbing his hand " Jack..i want you.. i know you can tell how much.., but i want you to have all of me... i know how hard it was for us...not going all the way..crossing that line... i just want to be fair to the both of us., be fully yours with no rules atteched and give you all of my body.." she said and blushed

She leaned forward giving him a soft kiss and blushed almost admittingthe words, that she was falling in love with him. She looked at him then the bed,. " Can you hold me.. like you did this morning?. We can realx like that until we're home.." she ssid softly hoping he would because she had loved being there.

Jack felt her hand squeezing his as he listened with a sense of happiness to Allie. He smiled as she told him she too wanted him and how hard it was for them not to go all the way and cross the invisible line. He knew she was struggling with the the notion she was trying to be true to John. But he could see by the look in her eyes that she wanted him just as badly as he wanted her.

He also wondered when she told him she wanted to be fully his with no rules attached and give him her whole body, if she was thinking of breaking up with John. He knew that was the only way they could truly be one together in everything. The soft kiss was, to him, a kiss of loving affection and it only reinforced the idea in his head that she had a decision to make between him and John. And at this point in their relationship, he thought he knew her decision but then again he learned never to take things for granted.

When she mentioned the bed, he smiled when she asked if he could hold her like he did this morning. His heart leapt and he quickly told her, "It would be my pleasure Allie."

He was glad he sent a note to the crew this morning, telling them to arrange some of the seats that folded into beds on both sides of the plane. He figured, after being up almost all night that they would need to rest on the long flight. When she laid on the makeshift bed, he placed a warm blanket over her and then lay beside her, pulling her against him. He loved the feel of her breasts and her body snuggling against him and if felt so right.

He kissed her and when the kiss broke, he chuckled thinking how sometime in the future he would introduce her to the mile high club. But for now he was content to hold her, kiss her softly and gently as the plane flew at 30,000 feet. After a few more kisses he saw her eyes close and smiled knowing she was tired and his own eyes grew heavy and soon the drone of the plane put him to sleep.

A gentle hand shook him, "Mr. Wolfe, we will be landing in about a half hour." He saw the gentle smile of Jennifer and thanked her. Kissing Allie's cheek, he said, "Time to wake up beautiful, we're almost back in New York." He saw her eyes shimmering as they blinked a few times. "Did you have a good sleep Allie?"

Abby had been content being in Jacks arms that way, something about it felt right, and she had dozed off peacefully with him. She stirred awake gently to a soft kiss on her cheek as Jack woke her up letting her know they were neadly baxk to New York.

She smiled softly moving some of the now straight hair out of her face and sitting up beside him slowky hearing him ask if she slept well " I did..I hope youre well rested too Jack" she said and sighed sttetching lightly

She knew she had alot to think about when she got home when it came to John, like their future, how he still felt aboutnher after all of these years, if he wanted more from her than just a pretty , loyalm obedient girlfriend? If thats all he wanted, she knew she would have to end things,she had loved him, but she wanted to be in love, feel the things she felt with Jack,mshe wanted to see if the connection had been there still.

They landed not too shortly after and loaded intomthe helicopter back to the city and then were taken back to Jacks penthouse with all of their things. She was goung to head straight back to her place but Jack insisted she stay, unwind and have some lunch with him and she smiled unable to refuse him.

Truth was, it would be hard returning to her place alone after being with him the past few days and them sharing a bed and place together, her loft would feel empty and she was sure his aoartment would too and she held his hand as they rode the elevator up with him to his place with all of their luggage.

They stepped inside giggling and talking as Jack talked with her about some of the trip and they stepped out both shocked to see a beautiful blonde woman waiting at the kitchen island sipping a glass of wine with her legs crossed and scrolling her phone.

She had no idea who it was but she could tell by the look on Jacks face he hadnt been happy for that sudden appearance and the woman looked up seemingly amused by his reaction to her.

Allie had stayed silent observing thinking it may be an unwanted family memeber or ex and she knew she would be a little jealous if it were the latter.

Jack felt really good about the week with Allie. As they headed back to his penthouse on top of Wolfe Towers, he thought about her hire and the work with Robert and Maggie in New York and then Jacob and his crew in Vegas. Besides being a gem in the business world, she was a very sensual woman. The time in Vegas, between business and pleasure, made him realize they had become a lot closer personally. His feelings for her were growing stronger and he knew one thing, he wanted to be with her all the time.

He loved her laughter and when they traded barbs in the elevator about the go-kart races, they were both laughing when the opened and Jack telling her he was still claiming victory. He felt Allie stop dead in her tracks and her body stiffened. Glancing in the direction of her stare he saw Judy Ann his ex-wife sitting at the kitchen counter, sipping wine.

Jack's voice was rough as he yelled, "What are you doing here?"

"Now Jackie boy don't get your feathers all ruffled. I heard you were in Vegas and a call to the Mirage confirmed you and your honey was coming back to New York today. Aren't you going to introduce me to your newest girlfriend?"

Jack's face flushed with anger at Judy's remark and then her felt Allie pull her hand from his. He turned to Allie and he could see the questioning look in her eyes. "Allie this is Judy Ann, my ex-wife. She has no business being here. We've been divorced for a few years and she keeps turning up like a bad penny."

Turning to Judy, he asked, "how did you get in here. I left specific instructions you were not to be allowed up here."

"Oh dear .... don't you remember how persuaive I can be. I told Jessica I needed some tax papers I left here and the poor dear believed me.

"I think it's time for you to leave Judy. You know you're not welcome here or anywhere where I'm at."

"But honey," her words were dripping with scarcasm. She held up a news tabloid and Jack saw what she was talking about. "I saw the paper and wondered who in the world snatched you."

On the front page was two pictures. One of them leaving the casino and the other one of them in the limousine with large bold print above the pictures WHO IS THE LUCKY GIRL THAT HAS SNAGGED THE MOST ELIGIBLE BACHELOR.

Jack looked at Allie, seeing she was visibly upset. "I'm sorry about this Allie. I had no idea my ex-bitch would be here to cause trouble."

"Oh honey I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm thinking a little extra in the monthy alimony would be sufficient to keep me quiet or I can provide the media with some very salacious stuff about your girlfriend, ..... Allison James isn't it. From Cleveland ..... I believe."

Jack saw Allie's face flare and he was sure she wanted to know how his ex-wife knew her name and where she was from.

Allie had pulled her hand away instinctively but she could tell that had worried Jack slightly as he quickly began to explain who the woman was and that they had been divorced for years. She had to admit she was a little shocked by that, Jack had never mentioned having an ex wife or any other exes for that matter but she hadn't really asked either, nor did he ask much about John although she knew he wanted her that part was definitely clear.

He also didn't dent her being his girlfriend and blushed a little at that and Judy seemed to be analyzing the two as she built scenarios in her head and showed the headlines to them in big bold letters.

Allie sighed at that seeing it knowing If it were in the main paper John and her family might've saw it as well. Jack looked at her and apologized and nodded understanding knowing there wasnt any way to predict her showing up.

'Its ok Jack.." She said softly knowing the two couldn't show affection in front of that woman and she knew the woman was using terms of endearment with Jack to get under both of their skin.

The woman didn't waste time in blackmailing him, saying she'd say all kinds of things about and stating her full name and hometown.

She frowned at that curious as to how the woman got access to that information and she'd discuss that with Jack later. " Do you think the paparazzi will believe it Judy? Assumptions of an ex wife? I think itll come off as obsessive on your end in my honest opinion" she said and shrugged..

She saw Jack concern as she walked over grabbing a glass calmly and standing across from Judy pouring herself wine as well her green eyes serious as she contained her anger " Leave my name and Cleveland out of things Judy.. I don't want my family involved or harassed, if they are, I'll just sprinkle a few details of my own that won't involve Mr Wolfe in any way" she stated her tone cold.

Allison had only gotten this angry when someone threatened the people she loved , it was a very rare sight. She took a deep breath and glanced at Jack wondering how he would handle this situation and she could tell the woman had been impressed and amused Allie had responded back.

Jack saw the shock on Allie's face and her expression showing a frown when she learned his ex-wife knew her name and where she was from. He listened to Allie confront Judy and could tell Allie was getting angry. Jack knew Judy well enough to know she loved to get under everyone's skin with threats and innuendos.

"Whoa Jackie boy you've got a fighter on your hands ..... mmmm I kinda like the challenge," Judy retorted quickly to Allie's charge that the media may not believe Judy's claims.

Jack felt it prudent to remain quiet for now, wanting to see how Allie would react and stand up to Judy. He chuckled when Allie walked defiantly to the counter and poured herself a glass of wine. He saw Judy do a double take and knew she liked to be in control and was not used to someone standing up to her.

He saw Allie's hand shake a little as she sipped her wine while staring defiantly at Judy. And then he saw Judy's eyes open wide when Allie told her to leave her name and where she was from out of the media. Jack could feel the anger tone in her voice telling Judy she didn't want her family involved or harassed. What surprised him was when Allie took the initiative threatening Judy with lies about her.

Allie stopped and looked at Jack and he immediately took control of his ex-wife.

"Judy I don't think you want to get into a war of words with Allie or me." He looked at Allie, seeing her staring at him. "Allie doesn't know the kind of shit you've been but I can fill her in and I think the media will have a field day. I don't think you want your name dragged through the mud, especially if they start talking at your country club. Think of what your friends and your current husband would think if I or we begin to leak how you've been in rehab." He saw Judy's eyes narrow. "You know the rehab I paid for to try and get you clean after the divorce." He stopped for a moment and then added, "you know I have enough crap on you to destroy you and your circle of friends."

Jack had been through with her before and saw his words hit home and Judy's demeanor softened quite a bit. "Tell you what, how about you leave this alone because you know it's in the tabloids now and it's only a matter of time before someone finds out about Allie and me being in Vegas. And by the way, we were out in Vegas strictly on business. Allison is my new PA and we had separate rooms so if your think something happened, it didn't." It was true they had separate rooms but she didn't need to know they were in the same penthouse.

Then as an after thought he asked, "How did you find out about Allie and Cleveland?"

Judy licked her lips and gave them a soft smirky smile. "Well if you must know, I talked Jessica into letting me see her resume."

He saw Judy's quick glance at Allie to see if his words made affected her. He was pleased that Allie's facial expression remained noncommittal. "Allie why don't you tell her about the business deals we did out in Vegas."

Allie was surprised Jack had been through all of that with his ex wife as she listened while he spoke and she was tempted to hug him annoyed the woman was still tormenting him although she had been remarried and they were divorced for years.

She had heard of celebrities who struggled with addiction and trulyndid feel for the woman even if she was a problem Allison just had a big heart like that. She kept her expression straight knowing Judy was trying to glad the two and offered a small smile when Jack told her to mention the deals they just closed in Vegas.

She would tell about the mega casino but not about the aspects or ideas of it she knew better than that and the ink was still wet inn the contract they just sealed only hours ago.

"Jack and I just sealed a billion dollar investment with a casino, and this is probably one of the best ones that'll occupy Vegas, something brand new to the city. We also potentially have business deals outside of the companies investing in the casino, the future will tell, I'm personally excit3d to see the outcome of it,

She saw the slight scowl on the womans face seeing that Allie had been so involved in the business aspect of things because his other assistants hadn't been involved as she was in deals and Judy couldn't help but ask " So is she involved so much because you have a think for her Jack or are you trying to work those degrees and GPA of hers, i will say im shocked a girl that looks like you even tried hard for those degrees, I guess you small-town girls are different"

Jack smiled as Allie gave Judy just a tidbit of what they had done in Vegas. He was pleased she stuck only to the business deals and not the personal time they had together. But he knew Judy and she was prying, asking if Jack involved her because he had a thing for her or was he using her degrees. Jack knew exactly what she was driving at when she made a reference to Allie's looks, infering that Allie was making it on her back and not her brains. He had enough of her snide comments after she referred to Allie as a small town girl.

"Judy I've had enough of your snide comments and your attempt to blackmail me. You know your husband Jerry works for one of my companies and with one phone call I can make his life and your life miserable." Jack saw the look on Judy's face turn sour and she knew he meant it. "I'll tell you what Judy. I'm not an unreasonable guy. I'll make sure Jerry gets a nice bonus to take you on that Europeon vacation you always wanted as long as you behave and don't do anything stupid like talk to the media. You know I'll find out if you did and you know what the consequences can be."

Judy was quiet and he could tell he had her in a corner. She probably thought she could bully her way into getting more money from him but he could see it backfired. "I'm sorry Jack ..... I saw the picture of your girlfriend and I am jealous." She turned to look at Allie and said, "I'm sorry for being just a bitch. I know I blew it with Jack a few years ago."

Jack interrupted her. "Judy .... Allie is not my girlfriend..... she is a very valuable part of the company and before you leave here very soon, you owe her an apology." What Jack really wanted to say was he was falling for Allie and he really considered her his girlfriend but he knew he couldn't say anything of the sort until she made up her mind about her boyfriend.

Jack wanted her to leave so they could be alone at least for a little while before she went home to her apartment. He would love to have her stay but he also knew she had a lot to think about over the weekend.

Allie wasnt surprised Judy had thought that was how she had gotten her job as Jacks assistant, she had heard whisphers the second day she was there when she had visited the main floors and cafeteria, thats when she had just decided she'd order lunch in for her and Mr. Wolfe.

She was glad Jack had defended her on that end to squash suspicion but it wasnt entirely true, she wanted be his and hearing him say shevwasnt while true admittedly did something to her and she wasn't fond of the feeling.

She felt the woman regret her words and apologize ince Jack mentioned a bonus to her husband if she stayed out of the medias sight and behaved. She was even surprised the woman had apologized.

She knew this might not be the last of her though, there were woman like her everywhere.

"-Its fine I forgive you" Allison said quickly wanting to move past the womans attitude and Judy finished her wine and grabbed her purse but glanced at Jack as if she knew the two were more though they didnt admit it out loud just yet.

Allison watched as Judy got onto the loft elevator and sighed a bit relieved they were alone "Does she do that often?" Allie said wanting to soften the mood seeing he was still a bit tense and she walked over hugging him knowing he was stunned.

" Thank you Jack.." she said softly and looked up at him. She wanted to stay the night, but she also had tnings to unpack and calls to maks to ensure she was home safely in new york, but for now she wanted to enjoy his company a bit more before that happened.

Jack was relieved when Judy apologized and gathered her things. This had happened in the past and he had hoped he didn't have to explain her to Allie. But just before Judy left she had to make another snide remark, asking if he had taken her to his house outside the city. Jack told her no and left it at that. After Judy left, and Allie asked him if she did this often, he knew he needed to explain some things to Allie. And when Allie wrapped her arms around him, he held her tightly, hearing her whisper a thank you.

He looked into her emerald eyes and smiled. "you don't have to thank me Allie. It is I who should be thanking you. I know you need to go to your apartment tonight but I do need to tell you some things before you leave." He leaned down and his lips found hers, his tongue slipped over her lips teasingly, as if to try and convince her to stay. Breaking the kiss, he smiled and said, "let's have a glass of wine and let me tell you something you should know about Judy and me."

Taking the two wine glasses out to the balcony, he put them on a side table and sat down, patting his lap for her her join him. He grinned when she smiled and sat on his lap, one arm draped around his shoulder. There was another long kiss and then Jack looked deep into her eyes, knowing she would understand.

"I know you need to leave but I want to tell you something before you go. Judy and I were married when we were young and struggling like newlyweds do when they first start out in life. I was not the man I am today but poor and almost bankrupt. Judy was working for an electricall manufacturing company and I was trying to start an investment business. We had nothing and I was gone a good deal of the time trying to start my business and then after only about six months of marriage, I started to notice little things about her."

He stopped and took a sip of wine. "Someday if you want to know more I'll tell you but let's just say, her moods changed and when I asked her about it she shrugged it off as nothing. I found out that when I wasn't around her and one of her girlfriends were doing drugs and there was a pusher at the place she worked. One thing led to another and I finally caught them shooting up when I came home early. As you might imagine, all hell broke loose and she said she was just doing it recreationally. I knew better and soon I caught her with other men and women having drug parties." He stopped talking, reflecting on the images of the sex party he interrupted.

He saw Allie studying him very closely. "Anyways I knew she was hooked and I filed for divorce after only one year of marriage. Well about two years later, I hit it big with some investments and that led me to start multiple businesses and to where I am today. Even though she married again, I know she thinks of what her life could have been like and she regrets it. She screwed up now she is jealous when I date women and goes off the handle like she did tonight."

He took another sip of wine. "I thought you should know and I would have told you about her eventually. So know you know a little of my background and I hope she didn't scare you off. Because I will tell you Allie, I like you a lot and I know you have some thinking to do."

Allie heard Judy comment on his house outside of the city aaki g if hed taken her there and she coukd hear the jealousy innher voice. Jack had gave her a short quick answer and Judy made a swift exit.

She smiled softly when he said she didnt need to thank him and that he needed to twll her some things before she went home. He kissed her and she returned it smirking as he teased her with his tongue. She wanted desperately to stay but she knew there would be more gossip than there already was if her car was left there all night after their arrjval back home.

She follwed him with the wine bottle as he grabbed two glasses and smiled when Jack motioned he wanted her on his lap. She straddled his lap facing him and wrapped her legs around him comfortably.

They shared a loving kiss and she draped her arms ove his shoulder watching him as he began to speak. She listened to the story of him and Judy and felt for him, she could only imagine how hard that mustve been for Jack and instinctively began stroking him hair softly as he spoke wanting to comfort him.

They both took a sip of wine as he finished and she said " Im so sorry Jack..,i know it was a while ago and you're probably over it , im just sad you had to go through that" she said softly

She gave him a soft kiss looking into his eyes and they both sighed taking another sip of wine. She nodded gently as he told her he knew she had alot of thinking to do, she knew she did, she had alot on her mind since meeting jack wolfe and she knew she had been with John for years, their story had been completely different, they were young sweethearts similar to how Jack and Judy were, she didnt want to ruin what they had, but she also was falling for Jack Wolfe there was no denying that.

It felt good there in his lap as he held her his hands around her waist holding her to him and their bodies familiar with each others touch. " Im not scared off Jack... I know that wasnt easy to share.. I like you too Jack ...we both feel it.. and id stay the night, but i think i should head home tonight before i do things with you ive been holding myself back from the entire trip" she said a bit of desire in her voice.

She kissed his neck softly and lovingly knowing how was not the time to for them to make love after the incident with Judy, but next time she had been here, she would be here in his arms for the night.
