Allison wanted to kiss Jack goodbye but the family was there and they didn't have privacy before they left. They all said their goodbyes and parted in cars and she wished she could spend the day with Jack not really having spent time apart since she's worked for him.

She spoke a little with Sam and her friend told her to follow her in the rental and that she had to make a stop. From the route they were going Allison should've recognized Sam was taking her to her old condo.

She parked and sighed leaning against the wheel praying join wasn't there and Sam knocked her window softly telling her he shouldn't be he should be on his way to campus and she nodded agreeing and they headed up to her place.

She had small sentimental things at that place that she wanted she didn't really care what he did with anything else but Sam insisted they were going to take all of her stuff and sell the place.

They got up to the apartment and her mind instantly flashed back to the scene that shattered her and sent her out of town upset before. Sam must've known he was there because she knocked at the door instead of using the key she gave her and she was upset with her friend as she saw John open the door clearly surprised she was there with Sam.

"Huh ..... Huh ..... Allison you're back home " he said and looked at her but she couldn't say anything before Sam was arguing with and pushed past him into the place.
She was at a loss for words, she didn't want to see John or speak or remember the pain she felt seeing him in action, she even avoided looking at him until she heard him say " Allison I'm sorry .... I didn't mean for us to end this way. Please talk to me "

Allison sighed tearing up a little and tried to relax otherwise shed lose her temper " What do we need to talk about John... I think I was clear when I left and so were you when I found you... You made your choice and I've made mine.." She said and walked away but heard him following as she and Sam began gathering the remaining items she had in bags she had there.

"Please John... just leave me alone.. im happy for you" she said clearly not but they were done it was nothing she could do and she didnt want a relationship any further , her days in the cabin had opened her eyes to alot of things she did when she was with him and sacrificing her true happiness was one.

She gasped as he moved close to her when Sam stepped into another room and she sighed moving away " John please.. just stop... what we had is over... you clearly had things set up with Sandra here and never intended on a future with me, I just had blinders on and didnt realize it.. how long? ... How long were you pretending to still love me while sleeping with her behind my back?.. " Allison said as tears flowed that she was holding back " You know what ... indent even care, well be gone in 5 minutes and found out have to worry I'll let you be happy here...Sam and my Brothers want me to sell it but its your home too right? " she chuckled not believing she was saying it but she needed John fully gone out of even a tiny bit of her mending heart, she wanted Jack to have full ownership of it.

John was filled with remorse hurting Allison the way he did. He knew he should have confronted her and for her to see him in bed with Sandra was not the way he wanted to end their long relationship. He wanted to talk it our, tell her how he felt and why he did what he did but it was clear she wanted no part of him.

"Please John... just leave me alone.. im happy for you" Was she really happy for him or was she just saying that in a moment of anger and disgust. He tried to move closer to her when Samantha left them alone to retireve more of Allison's possessions from another room. He listened to her tell him how he set up house with Sandra and never intended on marrying her. That hurt becasue for years he wanted to marry her after med school but then she went off to New York and that changed things ..... she changed.

He wanted to answer her questions about how long he was pretending to love her. He knew it was only a few months .... months that she was gone to New York and Sandra was part of his every day life. "Allison let me explain what happened."

"You were gone ...... " he said and started to add to it when Samantha returned to the room with a bag of Allison's belongings.

"Just shut the fuck up asshole," Samantha yelled. "And by the way Allison is not leaving this place to you. As of today you are evicted and I'm planning to sell it and you can go live with your whore."

John turned to Samantha. "Stay out of this."

"No I won't. Look at my best friend. You broke her heart and now you have to pay for your stupid ass decision." Lookinig at Allison, she said, "I got everything out of the closet and we can come back when scumbag here is gone. Come on let's get out of here."

Samantha grabbed Allison's arm walking her to the door. Looking over her shoulder she reiterated her threat. "Be out of here by tomorrow morning. The for sale sign is going up as of tomorrow morning and you'd better not be here." Samantha knew her best friend was in no condition to argue with her and she held her arm as they walked back to the car. "Let handle the details Allison. Let's go shopping for some sexy clothes ..... it always helps the soul." she said as they got into the car. Samantha smirked as she got in the car..... she knew exactly what happened last night.

It was late afternoon at the restaurant. Jack and Henry had gone over a lot of the details and now it was just a matter of hearing what Allison and Samantha had to say about the expansion. Jack smiled seeing the two women get out the car and he sensed something happened on their shopping trip. Allison and Samantha were laughing and he wondered if Allison told her best friend about last night.

Henry greeted the two women and started asking for their advice on his potential renovation and expansion.

Allison felt her anxiety creeping up as John began to speak more and she could tell he wanted to still be in her life and talk to her but for her now wasn't the time it had been too soon and he started with the excuse that she was gone before Sam interrupted and pulled her out of there Allison had been in sort of trance disassociated herself from the words not wanting to hear the words just yet and hurt further.

They got to the car and she was silent and Sam said " Let handle the details Allison. Let's go shopping for some sexy clothes ..... it always helps the soul." Allison chuckled softly at her whirlwind best friend.

"Yeah...maybe that'll help... I wasn't expecting that..him being there.." She said and sighed and Sam shook her head trying to cheer her up. Allison knew she shouldnt dwell on his words he wouldn't hear her side and put everything on her but she did wish him happiness , just not with her anymore, she knew he worked hard too and some things just werent meant to be and John just wasn't as patient as her .

Her mind ran over a million possibilities of how long John and Sandra had been doing that behind her back , of he was with other women and more, but Sam recognized her mind spinning and treated her to ice cream before they started shopping.

The car rental place wasn't far from where the complex was so they offered to do a pickup which she was happy for and she knew she spent way more than she needed to on clothes and shoes and figured shed put goo use to it and would always need different outfits when travelling with Mr. Wolfe.

They got to the lingerie store and Sam had a grin as if she knew Allie and Jack had been doing things and she blushed telling Sam most things but skipping on the intimate details and making Sam swear not to bring it up because she wasnt sure how Jack felt about telling everyone just yet because it had been so new with them even though they did admit they loved each other all the time.

Sam was happy to hear that she and Jack liked each other and were close and couldn't help herself from teasing during the day. They went straight to the restaurant because Max and Ashton agreed to pick her Mother and Dean up and Allie was happy for that she definitely needed a drink after her surprise today and she coukdnt stop her smile when she saw Jack as they approached.

Sam teased her saying " Look your love is so happy to see you" she said seeing Jack smile and they both let out a giggle and she said "Oh my gosh Sam you're totally going to make it obvious and He r friend laughed saying it was already obvious they liked each other.

She smiled as they approached hugging her dad and then Jack and she saw a hint of concern and wondered if he could tell something had happened today and wondered if he wanted to hear it, she didn't know if she should worry him with the fact that she ran into her ex but she rather be open with himmand would talk with him in private.

Jack was a bit surprised when Allie, after hugging her dad, hugged him in front of everyone. He thought it was a show of affection that surely could be seen by the family members. Something happened on the shopping trip and Jack saw the concern on her face but there was something else. A look of happiness.

Glancing at Samantha, he saw her grinning and knew the two of them had been talking. He knew the cat was out of the bag, so to speak. But there was no time to get her alone and he would have to wait until later. Something inside told him that Samantha knew they were together last night. He shrugged his shoulders telling himself that it eventually was going to come out.

Henry interrupted, telling Samantha and Allison some of the ideas he and Jack discussed. Now he wanted their input. But before he could get their ideas, Amelia told him she was going to the kitchen to tell the chef what to make and wanted suggestions. Henry turned to Allison. "What do you and Jack want for dinner? It is after all a reunion of some sort."

Allison could tell Jsck was surprised by her hug and offered a small smile having done so with him instinctively but she saw the grin on Sam's face and sighed seeing Sam was doing a terrible job at concealing she knew something was up and sighed knowing it was just like her best friend.

She was thankful her dad was excited and focused on expanding and she smiled getting right into details of how they could elevate and expand and she could see the admiration and proudnesson his face as she explained and then Sam got into details about how she spoke with people and negotiated a selling point for the property at a reasonable price early this morning.

Allie also knew she might be been talking to someone about selling her apartment too because she knew how fast her best friend worked. She smiled as her dad and Sam were talking then her mom said she was going to suggest something for family dinner.

Her dad asked her what she wanted and Jack wanted which surprised her a bit but she smiled wanting him to enjoy something she loved having at the restaurant when she was back here in Ohio since she was youger " What about Cincinnati Chili?" She said and as her siblings and Sam light up hearing that because its something they hadnt had since they were teens and she wondered if Jack ever had it himself being from Ohio too. Their restaurant made some of the best and server it with a side of roasted garlic bread and a small side of goetta one of her grandfathers favorites.

She wished she could hold his hand and talk but knew shed find them some private alone time back at the house.

When Jack heard Allie say she wanted "Cincinnati chili" he smiled. "I think that is a great idea. I had it years ago when I went to Cincinnati for a Reds game. I think it would be good to see if your father can match what I remember."

Henry looked at Allie and then at Amelia. "I think we have just been issued an official challenge." His laugh was loud and resounded through the restaurant. "Why don't you go to the bar and mama and I will cook up the best Cincinnati Chili ever made at this restaurant.

"What do you say we go get a nice glass of wine at the bar while the chefs create their masterpiece," Jack said to a set of smiling faces knowing that this would probably be one of the best meals he would get to eat.

Allie chuckled as her dad accepted Jack's challenge and knew the food would be incredible if he was willing to step into the kitchen and make it himself. He dad had culinary training but wasn't a pro chef but Henry James cooked just as good as any professional and consider mommwho was obsessed with cooking shows.

She smirked when he also mentioned the cincinatti reds, she was surprised her dad didn't bring up that her grandfather, his dad was retired professional baseball player Charlie James during one of their chats together and she was happy her dad and Jack were getting along although it was hard not to get along with her parents they were usually very open and welcoming which she loved about them.

Jack offered everyone to grab wine at the bar and smiled thinking it was a good idea and chuckled softly recalling when she had too much wine that time and he tucked her in versus now he would join her naked instead and make love to her.

Allie smiled introducing him to Alex and Kendra the two house bartenders for as long as she could remember and they smiled getting everyone. Sam went for a mixed drink, her brothers got beers and she ordered some light wine for her and Jack and wondered What he thought of the restaurant
