Married Woman Who Like To...

Well I had to laugh at that as I'm completely doing the same thing. Lit lurking on my phone at 3am, sleeping hubby in the living room while I enjoy the king sized bed, lol

LOL...ok, I'm laughing at your laughing. ;) I moved out of the bedroom, giving him the king-sized bed. Just me in the guest room now.

As far as I'm concerned she can have the damn bed, I love my freedom and fun time in the basement, hell it is like a small apartment anyway. :D

Just discovered this thread. Wow, I had no idea how many people were in the same boat as me.

It's often said that 60% of all marriages end in divorce.
And that a large percentage of the 40% aren't happy with their spouse.
So I'll put it to you like this, if you were a fireman and had a building burning in your area, and the fire captain said you can go in but you only have a 40% chance of coming out alive, and even if you do you can be badly burned or scarred, would you want to go in?

But the fire only burns once you get into it. From outside, it's warm and comfortable. You get lulled into a sense of security.

I was lulled alright! Oh boy was I lulled!

Nothing quite compares to that first falling-in-love stage, right? Time tends to smooth out all that energy. The trick is to keep the passion, I suppose. Gonna get all Dr. Phil up in here now. ;-)

I appreciate your sarcasm bailadora. I have to say however, in all honesty that has not been the case with me. I have met many women on here with whom I have enjoyed friendly chat. It has been a real pleasure just to get to know people on whatever level they are willing to disclose themselves.

I would agree. There are threads here where you can go for porn and I have visited them. I'm now coming to a point in my life where that's not as important as it used to be. I'd rather have a friendly chat where I get to know the woman first. If we click, then we can move on to the sexy chats. If not, I hope that I've made a friend.

Glad you stopped by Hester. If you feel like continuing on with some posts, we would promise to do our best to be gentle.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Jonny. I'll be sure to stop by and spend more time. ;)

I would venture to say that none of us started out with a problem in our marriage. People grow apart in their friendships and their marriage. Some of us can actually 'fix' it and grow together again. Some of us can't. So we either get out or live lives in quiet desparation as Thoreau put it.

True. And usually by the time it's obvious that something isn't right, there are so many other factors to consider before making any kind of decision. Inertia often wins out.
