pouring down upon the plains
quenching droughts with sprinkles and splashes
and drops of whispered,unenviable pain

It was raining tonight here in Kansas. In fact we had a thunderstorm for a little bit. In December. Go Figure. Oh yeah, I liked this one quite a bit....
