I was thinking of submitting a story I wrote for the halloween contest, when I just came across a thread that said that the following categories were not allowed. NONHUMAN, GAY MALE …First off, those are all GREAT categories for a halloween story, and also, the ones in all caps are basically THE ONLY CATS I'VE EVER SUBMITTED TO! What the hell!!!!!!!!?

God it’s good to see your legs again! Yes, your 90 day banishment to the penalty box ended Tuesday and you are now once again ‘unignorable’ (on a trial basis).

And the cold northern nights meant that they were always looking for a warm body to share their beds – no non-humans for these girls.

Especially enlightening are the views and opinions of writers who are TOP TEN “Most Favorited” or those who are members of the 1000+ VOTE CLUB and/or 100+ COMMENT CLUB. It’s these authors whose works have stood the test of time.

Please do not enter stories in any of the following categories – they’ve been excluded from this contest : Non Human, Sci-Fi, Non Erotic, BDSM, Gay and Romance.

If you really want your writing to improve, critics will be a factor. Entering a themed Literotica/A.I.R. contest is one of the easier ways to get noticed.

Despite that, I encourage everyone to completely ignore his fraudulent contest thread. Don't post in it. Don't even click it.

Instead, keep the real contest thread active, and on top of the forum. So long as the official thread stays on top, his is obviously a giant load of hokey. It's when the real thread is allowed to slip down toward the bottom that we have a problem.

I really don't want to be back-to-back posting all the time to keep the thread active. Throw out ideas. Talk about past contests. Whatever is in the spirit of supporting your fellow authors and encouraging everyone to participate in the contest.

And of course darkboy has hit the nail on the head so to speak. He’s identified the problem without even knowing it.

“Same old same old - why change anything” is our boy darkboy’s motto. So he continues to jack up a tired old contest thread (he’s been doing it for years), he fights against any meaningful changes to the rules while breaking the ones that exist, and continually works to keep the sites best authors from entering the contests.

And what’s mr cut-and-paste left with?

Fake numbers and fake graphs purporting to show that all is well while fighting ferociously to keep the real numbers (and the way they’re manipulated) from prying eyes.

Bumping threads that are generating no interest to keep them at the top of the page. While trying to suppress any competing view.

db is worried about where on the forum page the thread is and how many views it has? Why isn’t he worried about the content?

I don’t begrudge the oggman his thread. I’ll continue to post there. In fact, as db well knows, my presence on past oggman threads has been proven to be very beneficial – views and real discussion spike in direct proportion to the number of my posts.

darkboy would like to kill this thread! So only the oggman/dumb Texan/db thread bumpers would survive. So that debate would be stifled. So that their machinations and hypocrisy would be hidden.

He’d prefer that 25 vote, one day wonder stories would again reign in the winner’s circle while truly popular stories, the choices of our readers, would languish by the wayside.

He loves to see the contests flooded with 20, 25 or 30 stories from one author. It helps allow his small clique of plotters to slip in one of their own at the last minute. We, on the other hand, believe in limiting the number of entries allowed each author.

I ask why the Dr. Heats of our world, authors who command a huge and loyal audience, are overshadowed by non-erotic, non-human stories that no one’s read.

I ask why popular stories are stripped of hundreds of their votes with no explanation even though it’s virtually impossible to cast more than one vote for a story.

Meanwhile db chuckles up his sleeve.

I invite my confreres, other Top 20 MOST FAVORITED, to compete. db discourages them.

If A.I.R. is an official contest, but branched off from Literotica (and according to you at one point "supported by Laurel") where can readers go to vote on the entries? In all the times you've publicized this contest, scrubbies, you have yet to show any contest pages or voting links. I mean if A.I.R. is so concerned with letting the readers be more involved, then there should be user friendly pages to read, vote and comment on the entries to your contest.

What are your results based on? Do you use numbers from the OFFICIAL Literotica contests or your own? If you use your own, where can these numbers be seen? After all, you are all about transparency, right? If you use Literotica numbers, then as far as I'm concerned (and others, I'm sure) this contest is as fake as your royalties.

And if your contest is so great, how come we have yet to see anyone besides you even acknowledge winning it? Oh that's right, BECAUSE IT'S FAKE!
