While I'm all for legalized prostitution (and taxing the world outta it plus licensing fees) a bit of class would be nice.

What percentage of dominants you (as in anybody reading this) think are clowns pretending to be real, depends a great deal, quite obviously, on how you define the term "dominant." So what is there in Masha's post to get all defensive and bitchy and awkwardly (yep, it struck me as rather awkward--shrug) sarcastic about? She's just talking about her own personal experience and saying something indirectly about her personal definition of dominant, and sure, it might not match yours, but really, is the extreme response to her statement really necessary...unless perhaps there is a ring of truth in it that makes certain people extremely uncomfortable? If it doesn't make you uncomfortable, why not just simply and honestly state that you think she is wrong and go into your reasons for thinking that rather than taking the overly dramatic sarcastic stance?

Another thing that struck me as weird: what pro submissive in her right mind intent upon spamming this site and hopefully drumming up some business from the readers of her posts would then go to great pains in the body of her message to greviously insult her potential customers? Something about all of this does not scan.

I don't think many were overly upset about slave masha (aka slave maria) being a pro sub or pro anything...I know I am not as I strongly support those areas as honest and just as legitimate profession as a million others. The problem I had was in that she had just days before been advised about SPAM rules on this board and site as well as her threads removed, to only come back under another name and try and disguise it better this time to get free advertising, and believe me unless I am sadly mistaken I very much doubt she meant her post to be anything but for that purpose. Why? Under either name she makes no other posts nor returns to the site after making them....if one is posting with an interest in discussion they usually at least return to see what else was said.

Won't comment on the statements she had to make about Dominants except to say I think it is a bit commercially foolish, but also may demonstrate the type service she may provide and a lack of understanding of the real concepts of the role she professes to be to her.

Unfortunately Lit cannot afford to be lenient with SPAM posters as it then becomes a free for all with advertising everywhere, which is not great for discussion, or a need to judge the worthy against the unworthy which also does not work well. We have other professionals amongst the posters here who genuinly contribute to discussions out of their own interest, not to use the site for their own commercial purposes.
