This is the first one I remember seeing in a theater. I remember thinking “what a weird ending” and then finding out that it was only intermission. I think it’s the only movie I’ve seen that had one.

I don’t remember the intermission at all! But that makes sense- it’s a longg movie!

I heard when this movie first came out, no one really knew what it was but there wasn't a lot of choices to go to. So, people were giving it a shot and were totally blown away and it turned into a must-see movie.

I'm not 100% sure this was the first film I saw but it's the first I remember seeing. A drive in theater in a station wagon with 5 kids.. Popcorn made at home in a paper bag. How much more middle class Americana can you get?

Wow, that's a good question, because it was so long ago. The first movie I remember seeing in the drive-in with my family was The Love Bug, but there may have been earlier ones.
