I generally avoid clothes with text. I like patterns and solid colors. Once I sewed a butterfly patch to a shirt. I could wear a shirt pattern of overlapping butterflies. There are shirts with butterfly prints, but with some blank spaces, but not the overlapping density I imagine. And here's another idea, illustration by cutouts, which might also be called lace:
