The Nerd Herd!

I had to edit your post because of the URLs on the pic - how about you just post links to that site? I'm pretty sure others would love to see it!
Damn it. I meant to make a note of that URL and forgot. Ravenloft, please post a link or two to it, or PM me w/ it? :D

Yeah, I know they had to go, I was going to come back today and take them down myself as I was sharing paid content.

No links to share, unless you're willing to pay 10 bucks to join cosplaydeviants.com Its well worth the monthly fee.

Just want to say, by the way, great idea for a thread; not quite sure why its in the BDSM section, but I don't really need to understand that, either. :)

Didn't you know? Nerds are all secretly into BDSM, thats why we all play a game called Dungeons & Dragons. Duh!

Seeing as how I'm submissive and in a D/s relationship with my husband, makes perfect sense to me.

Nerds can be kinky, too, you know.

This is why I heart you, Lofty. :D

If I had a dollar for every fantasy anime that featured a female spell caster who used sperm to restore her magical power... Well, to be honest, I'd only have five or ten bucks, but still... Sounds like my kind of magic system. I'd have to play a rogue though...

Magic really isn't worth that much to me personally, but hey, to each their own. However, if female spendings worked the same way, you damn well bet ya I'd be an arch-FUCKING-mage by now! And if I felt particularly kinky, I'd go with a master druid, just for the shape changing. ;)

"Doggy style? Well, okay, but honey, you havn't lived until you've done it Dire wolf style, not to mention Bear style. How about hawk style, you'll feel like you're flying, and you know what Freud said about flying... What? Oh you meant just the sexual position... Sorry, my bad." *Turns back into human form, sheepishly.*

Ravenloft's rationale is the best, but in reality, the BDSM Café is sort of like the Fellowship meetings some church groups have after they do their worship thing: socialization, often with a religion-oriented slant, but not necessarily *focused* on religion.

As I sometimes try to explain to new folks in the BDSM Talk forum (the Café's parent forum), Talk is for discussion of BDSM topics. The Café was designed for discussion of just about anything else in the world that strikes the fancy of those who post more or less regularly in the Talk forum, sometimes but not always with a BDSM slant to our viewpoints. What I've found amusing over the past few years is that there are a substantial number of people who post regularly in the Café but never (visibly) set foot in Talk. Kind of like a teenager setting off to college and only coming home to have mom do 14 loads of laundry for the next semester, some of the Café habitues only wander into Talk if they have some dirty laundry they want to get aired out. ;)

Damn, I think I'm tired. I'm metaphoring all over the place.

All of the above points are one hundred percent understood.

And, Desire, I certainly know that nerds can be plenty kinky; just look at all that tentacle porn in Japanese cartoons, and compare the number of nerds who watch it...:)

Just want to throw this out there. Nerds, gamers, you can love your Mudkips, just don't love your Mudkips, okay?
