The new football thread

Bills have a guy playing the role of Superman trying to pull his entire team across the finish line every Sunday.

Maybe a couple good TE's and a good secondary but 28th against the run won't work.

Denver 2nd against the run,NE 6th,Seattle 3rd,LA Rams 12th just saying.
Yep. Elimination of the offensive phase that controls the clock is how teams win.

And that "superman" had a sure thing first down on that last interception. It is Allen's weakness. He refuses to learn and as a result...keeps turning the ball over again and again in critical situations. If I remember correctly...a FG would have won it for the Bills. But it is what it is. This is what makes football fun...watching teams drastically underperform...and new teams rising from the ashes to become the new tops. I did not see any of the 4 teams remaining being where they are

If for nothing else but wanting a good game, I'm glad stidham looks like he is up for this game. Brosmer, o connell, oladukan, etc, etc

I remember when Josh McDaniel brought Stidham with him to the Raiders in 2023. He started a couple of games and did not suck. I remember thinking he might be good if he was with a respectable team rather than the hapless Raiders. They released him after the season and signed Gardener Minshew as their starter in 2024 and Gino Smith in 25. Stidham is certainly better than those two.

I’m not surprised by those two big plays he made on the touchdown drive. He’s on a real NFL team with real coaches.

The Broncos are looking awfully good here on both sides of the ball. The Pats offense better step up if they don't want to get blown out. They need to give their D a breather before they get worn down

Denver could win if they put about 17 points on the board,no turnovers, and lean on their defense.

My opinion.

That's the way it's looking. I'll take the turnover by Stidham, though. Just gotta turn it into 7 and not 3.

That’s quite a chaotic passage of play and decision making but makes things more interesting for sure

Field posiition and defense, and wait for a screwup/turnover.

Just like my old coach John Fox said,a punt isn't a bad play lol.

I know you have to play all conditions but this is a lottery. If Pats can get a 1st down from here, it’s game over
